Looked for a place to eat while waiting for the ferry. Ordered soda, they brought out warm cans with ice filled glasses. Ordered mozzarella sticks as an appitzer, plate only had 3 sticks, not worth the 12 bucks by a long shot. Ordered the fried flounder sandwich. For $22, it should of been a better portion . Very thin piece of fish, says fresh on menu, but I think it was frozen. Fries were very good. Staff was friendly. Way to expensive for the quality and quantity of food.

One of the most unique places to eat! An old trolley car converted into a restaurant. Food and drinks were amazing along with the hospitality. A must when going to Greenport.

Had a really nice lunch here on a Monday. Very friendly service and tasty food. The oysters were excellent as well as the grilled salmon on the Caesar salad and the soft shell crab sandwich. We met the owner’s son, Paul, very sweet guy. They have a fun Long Island train station decor theme with vintage photos and the bar looks very cozy. The restaurant side is well done with a spacious expansion of the old house under a glass roof. Would come back any day.

Had the most amazing chowder and chicken pot pie here. This place has a great decor and vibe. The service was pretty slow but that’s understandable as the owners doubled up as servers amidst the pandemic. Chicken pot pie is one of their specialties and I relished every bite of it. The portion size was huge, it was creamy and delicious. Just what I needed on a cold Saturday afternoon. The prices are reasonable. All precautions were taken, tables were 6 feet apart and the table cover sheets were changed with every new customer. Great food and friendly owners.

I was here with my service dog and try to get a table was immediately illegally, asked for my service dog paperwork and treated very rudely at the door. Didn’t even make it inside of the restaurant before I was treated so terribly. I do not recommend this to anybody who has any kind of handicap because they are definitely biased to handicap people. Definitely a violation and I already have a medical issue I definitely did not need attention drawn to it I had the paperwork in my bag. I felt attacked as soon as I walked in the door. Say what you want but I was horribly embarrassed and upset for the rest of the day. It was a traumatic experience for me. Shame on you. You were so disrespectful and are still being rude. She had her vest on and was clearly marked as a service dog. This was the only place in town that I was treated so awful.

Cozy spot but it’s super overpriced and I felt like the waitress (who I think is an owner) was very off putting towards my boyfriend and I even though we spent $100+ on mediocre food without any complaints. Just look at how they respond to other reviews they can’t take the criticism!

Edit: The place was overpriced because the food was not that good for the price. I work at a restaurant and we have similar menu items and had we ordered those same items it would’ve been $20 cheaper but a whole lot better. The place was off putting because the other owner (I assume) was giving away used clothes, baby toys and other goods in front, the place was empty and looked closed When we questioned if it was open they acted like we were crazy for even asking. Again the place was almost empty and you could probably hear a pin drop (no music on). At that point everywhere else in town was closed, and I’m not going to start an argument as I do not plan to come back again. Plus we were unfamiliar with the area and food is food at a certain point. I gave it 5 stars for atmosphere because it’s decorated in a cozy way but I take them back! Please learn how to take criticism.
