It has been seven years since my last visit to this establishment, and I am pleased to see it has endured the challenges of the pandemic, unlike some other businesses in town. The ambiance still retains a welcoming warmth, and I believe the quality of the food has improved since my previous visit. We began with stuffed zucchini flowers, which were quickly devoured. I also ordered the arancini, and the portion size was just right. They were delightfully crispy on the outside and wonderfully moist and cheesy on the inside. For my main course, I selected the vongole, and the portion of clams was quite generous.
* However, the watermelon margarita was not to my liking. As a resident of Jalisco, I have a discerning palate for margaritas. It could have benefited from a more generous amount of fresh watermelon juice and a salted rim.

Perfect atmosphere, great food and drinks, and excellent service. Chicken parm, pesto gnocchi (special), and meatballs hit the spot! Reservations are a must (we had one)—there was a wait for tables. Space was tight but we didn’t mind. They accommodated our friend’s severe dairy allergy with vegan options. Highly recommend!

Nice place : tight and crowded good for friends and partners. Service was slow but not painful. 20 minutes for drink orders. 25 minutes appetizers after we ordered drinks. Dinner came about 10 min after apps but we ordered dinner same time as apps. $16 for a drink. $12 per plate for apps. $20 to $50 per plate. Not bad. Bottle of house red $45. Ordered truffle gnocchi – that is a must if you like truffles. Excellent. A meat and pasta dish was excellent. The bolognese sauce on another dish salty but delicious – especially paired with a red wine. The white bean and shrimp pasta dish was average. Don’t order it. Good place.

First let’s say the reservation process is fabulous. They called within a few minutes of putting in the reservation request and got us handled quickly. While the inside of the restaurant was beautiful, we opted to sit outside and enjoy the music being played on the street.
The food was excellent. And bravo to the server for helping guide us to the best options. We got arancini special, blue cheese Wedge Salad, Shrimp Tetrazzini, and Chicken Saltimbocca. Every dish was wonderful. And even though I saw complaints listed, I found them unfounded. Though it wasn’t super fast, I will note the restaurant was full when we arrived, so they did wonderful for being maxed out.

We had a very nice dining experience. We started with the shrimp and grits (which was scrumptious) and the burrata salad. Both were delicious. I had the veal Marsala which was divine, I highly recommend the veal. The atmosphere was vintage Italian and the service was above par. Excellent choice for dinner. Bon appetite!

Excellent dining for P-town. Food was delicious, tasty drinks, and the service was top notch. We had a few allergies to deal with and our server was extremely careful, verifying with the chef every step of the way to ensure each of us were completely happy with our choices. Definitely our best dining experience for this trip.

This restaurant reminds you of a place to take Daddy and not in a bad way especially if he is paying. The bartenders are relics of a different era and that alone has some charm. You have a lot of traditional food offerings such as lamb chops which were delicious. Service can be slow as molasses so hopefully that will improve by the time the huge summer crowds arrive. Greeted by a lovely hostess upon arrival, everyone afterwards was also very friendly. Huge selection of food and drinks. Got the butter and cheese pasta for our child. Two preparations of the catch of the day fish dish, seafood fra diablo and zuppa di pesce. Portions were generous, everything tasted good. While the restaurant has fine dining written on it, I think it’s certainly more tavern/family style. Inside is a bit dark and can get slightly loud when at capacity.

Atmosphere & Setting
– Tucked below street level on Commercial Street, Front Street feels like a secret hideaway. The warm lighting, exposed brick, and vintage charm create a space that’s both elegant and inviting.
– It’s ideal for romantic dinners, reflective solo meals, or meaningful gatherings—a place where conversation flows and time slows.
