Social Profile:

The Front Street Café is a quaint cafe & gallery bistro set along the banks of the Ohio River in the historic village of New Richmond, Ohio. It began as an idea to bring the people of New Richmond, Anderson Township and other surrounding towns in Northern Kentucky and Ohio together to chat, have coffee, sandwiches and other baked goods while peacefully looking over the Ohio River and Kentucky hills. But like the town of New Richmond and Front Street itself, the cafe has evolved, adding delicious dinner entrees from our in-house chef de cuisine Neil Reissig, a fully-stocked bar serving popular beers, wines and spirits, a stage for our live backyard musical performances, and an outdoor grill for summertime barbequing

Our server Olivia was so, so sweet and the people there were working as a team, so we were very well taken care of. The champagne for the mimosas wasn’t quite chilled but that was a quick fix. After a night of partying at a huge wedding those big giant sausages were exactly what I wanted. Also they have an awesome rye bread! So dang good! Between multiple beers and bloody Mary’s and mimosa flights we did spend a pretty penny. Enjoyed every moment.

Consistently great! Even when packed during special events! The atmosphere is fun and friendly. Service is wonderful and staff are caring to customers and each other. We had the Pasta Lafayette, red snapper special, and lobster mac and cheese – all were flavorful, cooked just right! A musician played and sang songs from 60s & 70s well-received by the audience – some even got up to dance.

Come to Front Street Cafe people. Friday night, no wait, exceptional food, I mean exceptional. Did i mention the band? Live music, great band. We had the specials and a pasta dish that everyone at the table loved. The food was so good I forgot about taking pictures. I did manage to capture the desserts.

Great atmosphere down on the Ohio river in New Richmond for dinner! The food was top-notch as well as the service. The owner was friendly and even came to our table to help with an online coupon/discount. They had a band playing out back and had plenty of seating both outside and in. Will be back again for sure!

Great experience at this quaint cafe! The menu is surprisingly eclectic, and my lunch choice (their signature Rueben sandwich) was fantastic.

I had lunch at Front Street Cafe on June 6 and June 24. On both occasions, I was really impressed with the staff, all smiles and accommodating. The atmosphere inside and out is comfortable and relaxing. The women’s restroom was impressive.

The outdoor seating on a beautiful night was great! The music was perfect! Three musicians with a great sound–and just the right volume too! The menu had wonderful selections, and a great variety. The service was spectacular, and the owner was so nice as she greeted the guests! And last but definitely not least — THE CARROT CAKE WAS TO DIE FOR!

This place wasn’t a good experience at all for what I would consider more of an upscale cafe. The spinach artichoke dip was so flavorless, and the bread chips were so hard you could have broken a tooth. Not to mention, we waited over 20 minutes to even get it. We had a sandwich thing it was called Hawaiian something I don’t remember exactly what it was called. It was horrible. All you could taste was the pineapple. It came with chicken breast, which was only a thin slice of breast and a very thin slice of looked to be lunch meat ham. It’s so thin you could see through it. We were seated on the patio out back with no access to the bathroom unless you walked all the way back around to the front of the building. There were apartments upstairs of this restaurant, and the residents literally had to walk through the customers’ eating. We were sitting next to one of the doors of an apartment when one of the residents came down with a dog that had to stop and sniff my butt while I was eating. I don’t mind dogs at all, but that’s besides the point. I didn’t find it at all appropriate for a restaurant to be set up like that. We were seated and given our drinks and never seen our waitress for over 20 minutes until another server overheard me complaining about how long it had been and was still waiting on the spinach artichoke dip. The bill was $50 for 2 sandwiches, 2 iced teas, and the dip. I DON’T RECOMMEND this place at all.
