I ain’t gone never get over how good this shit is.. I’m 17 years in and I don’t know who the owner. But that Dwight Lord Jesus is the greatest Jamaican cook ever. It’s not even close. I’m from Broward County Florida. I hate that they never set up shop in Broward. The money and market is here. These folks have a Brown Stew chicken so good most important so different you will lose your damn mind. I use to drive 50 mins to get 2 plates. They have an old joke if you go to a Jamaican restaurant and the staff to nice the food sucks when I first came here in 2008 I was 23 and had heard they fried chicken good. I was on lunch break working at port of Palm beach. I went inside and they had no menus. The cashier table was against the back left wall they have changed it since then. A big RUG or Carpet picture of Haile Sellasie hung of the wall. You couldn’t see the food and had to take the word. A man came from the back with a frown on his face say. Wah U Wun impulsively I said brown stew chicken instead of fried. 17 years later I ain’t never ate nothing else from there. I can go on forever but Dwight you deserve your flowers. If I could’ve found a knock iff version of yall I would’ve probably sold yall out. Yet in 17 years I ain’t never found nothing close. I’m so fortunate and blessed to have came across yall in 2009 up until now about to be 2026 in a few days

The food is too good and abundant. The price, amazing. The place is open at amazing hours and the service is quick and courteous. Jamaicans love the place and I, not native, understand why. You wont be disappointed.

This is a nice lil spot that have a nice dining area. Hard to spot them at night. Big screen for you to watch the game and eat good jamaican food. They didn’t have any jerk chicken but it was late so I understand they may have been sold out. I would definitively come back to try it cause the curry was great.

I have been going to the restaurant for years. I have never been over charged before and I always use to get my money’s worth. But on this day I received a plate like this, looks like I payed for a plate of rice, and this was suppose to be a large plate of oxtails, white rice and cabbage for $20 plus tax. It was fixed to wear it looked right, I even looked at the plate from a distance but was fooled.

The parking is in a sketchy apartment complex looking place. Not too much traffic instore which is good but alot outside just hanging out

Pulled up and there was no one in the restaraunt at the counter. Waited 15 minutes before seeing a cook in the back. He came up front and I told him I wanted a medium stewed beef. He said only Okay and went to the back again without ringing it up or telling me the cost or the wait time or asking for my name

10 min later I got one MEDIUM stewed beef and a SINGLE 12 ounce guiness beer and was charged 31.66 for it. I do not understand why as the menu online says stewed beef is 11$ and they have no menu in person besides a chalk board listing out items without prices.

The beef itself was pretty good and there was a fair amount of it but not enough for the cost, I could get REALLY nice food for that much money from outback steakhouse or something. It was good though there was also potatoes and carrots and dumplings in it. Still I feel like I paid roughly double what it was worth. It’s enough for 1.5 meals of a large adult man I guess

Considering how much I was charged and since I don’t know why I will not be going back. It is important to note that I when I paid was offered a receipt and I did decline, not noticing the math was off until after I got home.

8/15/24: Food was good. Good seasoning. Although I don’t like my cabbage with corn and peas in it.
Service was great. The young lady cashier helped me out by bringing my food to the car for me. There is a dining room there if you decide to eat inside, but the decor leaves a lot to be desired.

11/14/23 – Today the food was too salty. They give you a lot of food, but this was the first time that I ever experienced food this salty from there.
