From the Hearth Kitchen and Pie Shop is a leading and cutting-edge restaurant in Northern California. We started out as an award-winning sourdough bakery, and have evolved into an upscale fast-casual restaurant. We have four restaurants (Kitchen & Pie Shops) and two drive-thru kiosks (Pie Shops) all of which serve handmade varietal pies, delicious burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads and rice bowls, and a unique breakfast menu with espresso and smoothie drinks. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and incredible dishes. We love what we do, but don’t take our word for it. The North State has voted us Best Bakery, Best Restaurant, and Best Lunch among other high honors.

This location has been our family’s go to for coffee and delicious food since moving to Redding and buying a home last summer .What also makes our trips there so memorable are seeing Angie and Felicity who really make our experience what it is…Always so very friendly and kind, so much so that we have become very loyal and enjoying spending our hard earned money in these uncertain times with everything that is going on in the country today…..We very much enjoy going to the From the Hearth Drive-tnru on Pine Street every day,coffee, awesome breakfast burritos, etc, my wife and our daughter frequently visit as well.

Best gas station ever!
Gas is very reasonably priced.
Then inside Caleb makes the best coffees.
Interior is different from your typical gas station. It’s very clean and not filled with sugar treats… instead healthy coffee and drinks.

Amazing customer service! Josh was working when I was there the last few times I have stopped and he was very kind and thoughtful for my complicated coffee order. He even remembered my name and coffee, which was super awesome! The food there is always good no matter what it is, it’s premade fresh everyday. This is a great place to stop and grab coffee, a bite and gas before you head out of town!

It’s always refreshing when the person taking a high maintenance coffee order is patient and understanding with what you want. When paying $6 for a custom coffee you deserve nothing less than the perfect drink!
As far as food at the 3 other restaurants I’ve eaten at; the dishes do differ in taste sometimes (some locations taste better than others) , and customer service varies greatly.

My favorite place to eat. The other locations are better though because they will take your punch card or reward card! This location doesn’t, but is still a more sustainable, healthy, and intriguing place to eat then other places in town. Go to one of the other locations for dinner if you want something really good and intriguing. There are not enough options like this place.

1 out of every 5 drinks is barely drinkable because it is under blended. Also, charging a whole dollar extra for Almond Milk is highway robbery. I would maybe understand like 25 cents but a whole dollar??? Rip-off. My drink went from $5 to $7 in the blink of an eye.
