So happy I finally made it here. The owners are super friendly and the food and service are great. CJ and Daniel were our bartenders and they were very nice and friendly. The food, I can’t say enough. We had the crab cakes which if you know Frogtown, they are amazing, we also had the bar pizza, dry rub wings and calamari. AMAZING! You need to come stop by and try it for yourself.

Food was fantastic! We were a group of nine with 3 kids and Sam did a great job of handling all of us. Great drink selection. The volcano fries and the chicken parm pizza on special were my favorite. Can’t wait to go back!

After many visits to the OG chophouse decided to give the tavern a try and so glad we did.
Apps:
Soft pretzel was as advertised and the mustard was yummy.
Volcano fries. Simple and not over complicated with an abundance of “stuff” everything in them tasted fresh and melded well together.
Entrees:
My bam bam shrimp tacos were outrageously good. And the side of chips and queso was great as well.
Wife’s korean BBQ chicken was huge and delish. Super moist and not overbearing.
Our dinner companions loved the flavors of the tavern burger and the steak frites. Everyone also loved the fries!!!
Dessert:
My brioche bread pudding was absolutely delicious!!! Wife’s espresso martini was also spot on. Great service and great hostess will bring us back again soon!!!

Went on a random Wednesday afternoon and glad I did! CJ the bartender was awesome, fun and created a great atmosphere for me and the other 8 or so guests. The wings….the dry rub wings….yeaaa! The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the crowd, makes this place a must go to for the wife and I.

Loved this place. Food is really good. Came here on a whim and so glad we did. The volcano fries were delicious, nice and crispy wings and the half chicken was super tasty. Definitely coming here again, next time without the baby. The place is a little on the upscale side so I wouldn’t describe it as kid friendly, more like they will accommodate kids if you have. There’s no baby changing station in the bathroom.

Food was enjoyable, service was friendly and atmosphere was nice but simple. They were well prepared for it only being their second night. Only issue was the surprise of a surcharge for paying with credit card. Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant ending to an otherwise pleasant meal. This could easily have been overcome by placing a conspicuous sign alerting customers to this practice.

Wishing I took photos but my mouth ate before my phone on this one. Steak & sweet heat frites were great! The house made steak sauce elevated it that much more. Calamari cooked great, marinara to dip had a good taste. Volcano fries were great, definitely on the spicier end but are accurately depicted by their description and were described as addictive by my spicy food loving husband. Burger was flavorful!
This was a take out order, all food traveled well and fries were still crispy after a short drive. Steak was cooked to temp as requested even after the travel in a take out box!
In our short interaction, staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgable of menu items. The building looks great after their recent renovations!
We will for sure be back and are excited to have them in the area!

We went with 8 people. We got appetizers we all got a different meals. Everything was excellent. Will be going back.
