What a great find! I wanted some Vietnamese food and the wife and kids wanted pub food. That was exactly what we got. The pizza smelled amazing as well but that it for another visit. 5* for great service and great food. We will be back!

Visiting from Boston and we just happened to stumble upon this amazing place by pure luck. The owner was extremely nice as was all the staff. The pho was authentic and pure heaven. I had the burger that was so tasteful. I have three picky eaters and they loved the chicken and french fries, pizza and mozzarella sticks. My cousin (who lives out here) had the steak and said it was absolutely delicious. We have been here for a week and everywhere we ate seemed to lack flavor, but I am telling you this place hands down was phenomenal.

At first glance, this looks like any bar/ restaurant in DC. The selections of fried edibles like hot wings, burgers, etc… seems to confirm this. And there is the long bar with Guinness on tap which are also familiar sights in so many other bars. Before you turn to exit to look for a more unique place, or take comfort with it’s familiarity, look more closely at their menu. There is a section dedicated to Vietnamese dishes. We tried some and found them delicious! Vietnamese food at Froggy Bottom Pub? These words shouldn’t be in the same sentence let alone in the same place. Located at the corner of K Street an 21st Street, this is worth the walk from either GW Metro or Farragut North Metro.
