Classic dive bar/pub atmosphere. Menu is standard bar food. Drinks are tasty and served cold. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is casual and fun.

We stopped in here on a visit up to Meredith during our vacation time around the lake. Very chill atmosphere and laid back staff. The front room was a bit noisy for our tastes, but hey, it’s a tavern! But the back room was chill and comfortable and had the soccer game on (no sound, thanks!).
We had great attention from the waitress who checked on us and made sure things were good. The food was surprisingly good, with nice variations (such as turkey burgers) and a great selection of salads. Something you don’t normally see in basic bar food.
The portions were quite large, so we ended up with a lot of leftovers, and the bill did reflect the portions, so while it was a little expensive, you’re definitely getting your moneys worth!

Great place for some amazing food selections. Seating is a little tight but it’s cozy. Lots of great variety on the menu. Something for everyone. Their adult beverage selection is good as well and they have a decent size bar. The staff is amazing and friendly. Service was fast and all the food was made accurately. We look forward to going back soon!

Good food! We kayaked from the canal and had a drink and some dinner. My partner ordered fish and chips but he got fish tacos, which he said was still really good.

Sat at the bar and had the cheesesteak. It was good, some of the beef pieces were quite thick but the flavor was solid. The fries were not my favorite but I’d be willing to try the housemade chips. Had a bite of the crispy chicken sandwich and I could have had the whole thing.
There’s plenty of parking behind the building and the service is grand.

We visit this area every two years, come from Pennsylvania. This was our first time at this Tavern. Service was great, personable and nice. Food was incredible. The spicy chicken sandwich with the house made jerk sauce! Incredible! Great drinks! Even got a to go container of the jerk sauce! Will be dreaming of that meal until next visit! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!! Excellent , and I rarely review things!
