Pretty busy place everyone was hustling trying to serve everyone. Could have used another server, it was too busy for what they had. I ordered the prime rib which was a huge piece, I love the end pieces cause they are usually more done and not as big. I like the bark on the outside. Unfortunately there was zero seasoning on it at all, My wife had the catfish and sweet potato, myself had the baked potato, another ordered chicken and au gratin potatoes, and one had the garlic mashed. Salad bar was good. All in all I would return if we get back that way.

Went for lunch after hearing about them on the news. We got of course the noodle soup (AMAZING)! Son had a Bacon Cheeseburger and I had the crispy salad with their Honey Mustard dressing (which is also AMAZING)! We got great food with good service! Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive and definitely will be back. Only picture I have is on the salad. By the way the tenders are hand trimmed and breaded. Love them!

I was very hopeful about this place and drove over 30 minutes after being recommended the chicken sandwich. The ambiance was nice, staff was amazing, but the sandwich fell short. For some reason it smelled/ tasted like cigarettes. The fries were just tasteless, absolutely no salt/seasoning and seemed like frozen fries. Didn’t even get to enjoy the meal so very sad and disappointed family here. Now I have to make dinner.

The Tuesday lunch special (Roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy) was absolutely fantastic! I had heard great things about it, and it did not disappoint. The gravy is the best!!! Perfection.

Seems a popular place. Service good. Pretty quickly they collected the dirty dishes. Foods are ok. Pudding n tapioca are high quality can ones. Chickens are juicy n cole slaw is differently good.

Nice place to eat in a small town south of Rockford, Il. Very nice salad bar, about a dozen daily specials posted on the wall and a regular menu as well. Each evening a different special is offered. Reasonable prices and good service.

My dad considers himself a fried chicken aficionado! Tonight was his first time here. He cannot quit talking about how great the food is here! We’ve been here a million times. I tried to tell him♡ He says he’d like to take this place back to TN with him lol. Thank you all! So damn good!!!!

A group of us went here. Nothing fancy. A bar with tables up front and a back dining room. The food was great. I had the fried cod. They give you 4 good size pieces and a large baked potato. All the meals came with soup and salad bar. The wait staff was great and attentive.
