Ordered take out around 4:00pm on 10/21/25, ordered sweet potato fries and a drunken chicken sandwich. Fries were overcooked, but edible, but on the other hand, my chicken sandwich was very obviously black and BURNT. Regardless of a new cook or kitchen problems, anyone should know this is inappropriate to serve to a customer.

The food here is very top quality, the chiefs in the kitchen are amazing. The service was nice and polite although we were unaware that we had to place our order at the counter then sit. Definitely not the norm. All in all I would recommend the food. The General Tso Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal and the shredded pork nachos made me wish I had a second stomach haha.

What an incredible experience thanks to the team. Fritz’s played a major role on this event and I am extremely pleased with the outcome !! Guests are still raving over the how delicious the food was and exceptional service..
The Birthday theme was an outdoor backyard event “ Caribbean Island “ .
Rebecka and Jonathan customized each and every food and drink items with the fine details & high quality ingredients. Each item for Cocktails , Appetizers , Main course and desserts were created for our liking and exactly what we wanted. It was a truly a Custom menu which was crafted for our party .
The live station with Paella , and Smoked Briskets was exceptionally with presentation and the desserts and cake were outstanding closing the night !!
The Fritz’s Service during the event was once again exceptional and the team catered to all of the guests needs with care and fine hospitality.
I would Highly recommend Fritz to anyone who is interested in obtaining Catering Services.
We will definitely obtain their services for all of our future catering events.

This is a nice spot for a quick and filling lunch. The prices are fair and the portions are large. However, when I visited here for the first time I wanted to order buffalo chicken tenders. I was told that they ran out and was recommended the buffalo chicken sandwich instead. The first bite of my sandwich was great. It was exactly what I was craving, but as I was about to take my second bite, I noticed a torn shiny piece of plastic in between the chicken and the lettuce. I opened my sandwich, and in disbelief, I found a large piece of plastic on the entire back side of my chicken patty, stuck underneath the breading. I had taken a bite of the plastic! I asked an employee about it, still not believing what it was, and was told that it was cheese. I took it back to the table to ask my friend what they thought and she confirmed with me that it was in fact plastic. After being gaslighted by the first employee, I went to the kind lady that took our order and she confirmed that I was right. She promised to remake the sandwich asap and told me she wasn’t sure how it got in there. After waiting another 15 minutes for my sandwich to be made, she came up to me with a sealed brown bag saying “I added a blondie in there for you”. I would’ve appreciated it if they had refunded me at least the price of the chicken sandwich. And if they wanted to use a dessert to apologize, it would have been nice to have been asked what I wanted. I don’t even like Blondies. Overall it was a frustrating experience. The food is great but make sure to check what’s in between your bread.

Went there for New Brunswick restaurant weeks and order from the special menu. You place the order at the counter and they bring the food to you. You clean up after you eat.
We had zucchini trio, grilled cheese, and bbq pulled pork sandwich, lemonade, a bottle of water, and a magic bar for $36.50 before tips.
The bbq pulled pork sandwich was great but messy as it’s served with cole slaw on top. It’s like eating sloppy Joe. The zucchini was tasty and plentiful. We couldn’t finish all the food and took the magic bar home for later.

Delicious!!! My family has ordered takeout from here several times, and it never disappoints. My favorite is the drunken eggplant parm—their eggplant is so crispy, and I believe the bread is homemade too! Yum!

Simply Amazing! I ordered kiddush lunch for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend and I could not be happier with the quality and taste of everything. We ordered the assorted sandwiches with the harvest salad and potato salad along with assorted bar cookies. The Potato salad was the tastiest I have had, the harvest salad was plentiful and fresh and the sandwiches were delicious. Everyone raved about the food and the portions were generous so we had more than enough. The sandwiches were plated beautifully and labeled which was helpful and the bar cookies were just to die for. Highly recommend for your next event! I will definitely order catering from Fritz’s again. Thank you!

living in the area, Fritz’s is a staple for my boyfriend and i. their Fritz’s style egg sandwich is a classic – bread is soft, sausage is a little small but THICK, and the ghost pepper cheese is nice and spicy. i’ve been there more times than i can count but still somehow get the same sandwich each time. i do ask them to cut it in half for me as it’s just easier to eat that way. my boyfriend typically gets the ultimate ham sandwich which he loves. on this particular day, he got their pesto sandwich with eggplant and found it to be delicious.
their desserts are fantastic (particularly the raspberry bar – crunchy, sweet, and a little tangy from the jam) and their coffee is fresh and tasty. double shot of espresso over ice is refreshing and has a yummy coffee flavor.
truffle fries are AMAZING. incredible truffle flavor, which is rather difficult to do, and crunchy every time. they’re great as is, but a side of garlic aioli is an awesome addition. we frequent Fritz’s before rutgers basketball games, and it’s something that we both enjoy thoroughly. 5 stars all around!
