The two young brothers who were at the service counter were discourteous and not friendly. Did not welcome us nor even smiled when my brother, his kids, my kids and myself entered the place. I wanted to so bad to treat myself and my kids some Venezuelan dishes but their attitude ruined everything. They acted like they were doing us a favor to serve us. I asked for a Reina pepiada they told me they did don’t serve that there because they are not from Caracas but Maracaibo. I asked for 2 ground beef empanadas and I got shredded beef empanadas. I am very disappointed but I assume they don’t care. It takes years to gain a customer but a second to loose him. I am not coming back here never again. My first and last time I walked in here. I can make my own Reina pepiada at home. They being the only Venezuelan place in the area you would expect they give out the best they can to make customers feel welcome and appreciated. I give you 1 star because there is no choice to give you none.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Tomball! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the service is unmatched. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The food is absolutely amazing – everything is delicious. We became regulars pretty quickly. Absolutely the best Venezuelan meal in town. Highly recommended !!!

First time trying Venezuelan, so I have nothing to compare it to. We ordered the Tumbarracho con Pollo and WOW it was so good. Very fresh, which explains the 30+ minute wait. This is not a quick dining, plan to be there an hour. The front counter person knew we were struggling a little with the Spanish menu and never mentioned he had English ones available (they were on the counter – he could have mentioned it.) Overall, we’ll be back, but when we have more time and we’ll ask for the English menus.

The food was great. We got a cachapa with cheese and added shredded pork, one tequeño, and one empanada pabellón. A little pricy but worth it!

You know that feeling you get of “wow! Or what the heck is in this?!” when you take a bite of something that makes your taste buds climax?! Okay well that literally happened to my husband and me when we tried these arepas and empanadas lol.
We don’t always agree on how amazing food is because he’s a lot more picky than I am but we both had the same reaction with this food. I don’t know if it’s the spices in their meats, the cheese they use or the Cole slaw. Perhaps is the mayo? Whatever it is, WOW just WOW!! I’m attaching a picture of the receipt for what we ordered the first time. And the pictures are from the second time we ordered. The restaurant is one of those hole in the wall places because it’s tucked away in a corner of a small business plaza. The place is cozy, and the music volume was reasonable. It is clean, and it DOESN’T smell like fabuloso, thank goodness! It’s a great place for a date because you can actually hear each other. The decor is vibrant and they even sell food items from Venezuela, like cheese, mayo, candy and chips.
They make everything fresh because the food comes out scorching hot. I love that but some of you babies out there might need to wait a minute or two before touching the food lol. The prices feel a bit on the higher end, especially when you are feeding more than two people. However, it is worth every penny. Oh! And the info on their Apple device at checkout is all in Spanish . The prices aren’t in U.S dollars in their system so it feels like you’re traveling outside of the country lol.

Awesome Latin food with Venezuelan flavor.
Family owned, with great service.
Hamburgers and hot dogs are a MUST with all their toppings.
Feel adventurous, try the Cachapas ( fresh corn/ elote hot cakes) or the arepas or any of the empanadas (turnovers)
The Sancocho (homemade soup) beef or chicken, on the weekends are great.

The food was delicious in general. Specially the Christmas plate “plato navideño” the”asado negro” is a beef made in heaven! The soup had little beef and too much cassava. The cachaba was not as it should be, the Douglas was not pure corn. More like a pancake. However the cheese and pork were extraordinary. The cheese pastelitos were just ok. I would come back definitely!! The Atmosphere was awesome!

I could not ask for a better empanada. They also recommended a couple things I had never tried before, so happy I did. Absolutely fantastic and friendly place to grab a quick and delicious bite.

The attention is really bad my and my family use to like it but they food is poorly made compared to other Venezuelans cruises we had to leave the place do to the staff being rude and telling us that if we don’t like something about the food we can just not eat it i will say is worth it driving all the way to maxi arepa in katy
