This place had a mix of texmex and authentic Mexican dishes. Seemed to be family owned and operated and the staff were friendly and attentive. There were so many options to pick from and none of the choices would have been wrong. Great place to stop after a hike or a big ski day!

excellent service! The cocktails were incredible. I had the premium margarita and my husband had the mezcalita. Both were phenomenal and very fairly priced. We ordered the queso, chimichanga and a burrito. Everything was incredible. Service was fast and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

We looked up somewhere to get some Mexican food, mainly queso, after a day of snowboarding and headed over here. It was packed with a line out the door! We were able to snag a spot at the bar, and I got a tasty drink with mezcal. The queso was not your normal dip kinda, but stringy and super good. Food was solid, and I’ll definitely come back

The food was pretty good, especially for the price and portion sizes. What a great value. I had the number 6 and it was quite good.

The service was excellent. Wait staff was courteous and knowledgeable.

Outdoor seating area was a little small, but nice.

Parking might be a bit tricky. The restaurant is on the corner and you have to park around back. I didn’t realize at first that the little dirt road is for the parking lot. We were in a nearly new Subaru, so we parked at the Subaru dealership right behind the restaurant and walked over. There wasn’t much parking in front of the restaurant, but you might get lucky. Also, no dedicated motorcycle parking that I saw.

I did not use the rest room here, so no idea about cleanliness or accessibility.

The tacos, burritos and chimichangas are good. The fried ice cream is okay… but it isn’t fried… it is ice cream rolled in flakes. The chicken mole was terrible. The drinks that I tried were very tasty… but overly full of ice, small and pricey overall. Stay with the tacos, burritos, and chimichangas.

It’s pretty difficult to screw up Mexican food and somehow this place manages to do just that quite well. Everything tasted incredibly ordinary. From the watery salsa to the flavorless chips. Add in my verde cheese enchiladas that were lukewarm with seemly jarred sauce and my boyfriend’s previously frozen combo #1 with the worst chile rellenos he’s ever had. The meat on his beef taco was suspect and enchilada was not good. We agreed that the only positive of this spot was that it is only 5 minutes from the house. I’d skip this place unless you want to be overwhelmingly underwhelmed.

A hidden gem in the mountains – what a delicious food
Me and my wife were driving down south on highway 9 and saw a sign saying “Authentic Mexican Tacos” thought of having couple tacos but ended up having a big dinner. If you’re in to HOT AND SPICY FOOD ask for their house made ️ ️ ️salsa- you will need milk

If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican food, this is THE spot. I hate wanna be Mexican restaurants but this place is the real deal! Just beware they do blast the Mexican music pretty loud but that’s part of the experience! If you have a big appetite I highly recommend the Torta Cubana

We ate dinner here 4 consecutive nights because we enjoyed this place so much. We tried a wide variety of things. Everything we tried was good and made with pride. Cocktails are amazing too. I doubt there is much in the area that is more delicious or a better value. Service is very friendly. Can’t wait to come back next time we visit.
