I’ve been to this location several times and every time they’ve knocked it out of the park. Before we even leave the parking lot my burger is usually gone. I’ve always had nothing but good experiences with the staff, they’re always kind and pleasant. Best burger and fries in Indiana, hands down. Thank you to the Anderson Big Boy team for being awesome and making sure that the frisch’s big boy legacy stays alive!!

My family and I have been coming here for Sunday breakfast off and on for quite some time, and it’s always such a great experience! The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service truly stands out. Celeste is our favorite server — she’s friendly, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure we have a wonderful visit. We always look forward to coming back!

The sausage links looked undercooked. Food on buffet was not hot. We got there when they started serving the buffet. The sausage gravy and I believe it was oatmeal looked similar. Gravy was not good. Bacon was burnt. When paying the lady asked how much we were leaving for a tip. In ny opion, that should not be asked.

So about a month ago I ordered a super big boy meal and got home to find the sandwich was covered in slop cold and on top of that the hamburger patties were raw which I didn’t notice until eating 1/2 of it. I called immediately and The female night shift manager said she would write my name in the book to replace it. Today when I went to get my replacement meal my name was never listed in the book. Thankfully the manager on shift said she would replace it for me (she was great) ! Upon getting home though this is what my sandwich looked like! So much slop all over it that it’s cold and nasty again with soggy bread that was like mush! Gross! Idk if you guys have different cooks in there that just don’t care about serving decent food anymore or what the deal is but this is just ridiculous! I’m sure there are supposed to be some sort of portion control on the topping which clearly they’re not being followed! Then my husband ordered a regular big boy and got the same sandwich I did which is not what he ordered! Shameful that people pay good money to get food to go and this is the slop being served!

The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The food was okay. I had the roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes. I didn’t care for the potatoes. They were instant and not made right. They were still flaky, which gave them a funny texture and taste. My fiance had the lasagna. It tasted good, but you could tell it was also cheaply made. We ordered my son the kids meal hamburger and French fries. It was decent.The coffee was really good. I, also, loved that they bring you your own personal pot when you order coffee.

Stopped here for dinner, ordered the “grilled chicken”, I can promise you, that chicken NEVER saw A grill. It was easy ti tell that it had been microwaved for A minute or so, no flavor, no seasoning, barely warm, and could still taste the water from the microwave thawing process. Broccoli was cold and raw. It appears the coo uses the microwave WAYYYYY too much, maybe no cooking skills, or in A rush. After discovering the chicken wasn’t good, asked for A hamburger patty., Iwould have been better off with the chicken,; again, not grilled, microwaved, vokd and bland. The-fries, Hot Fudge Cake, and Tea were good. My server was great. I stopped at this one as I have eaten at several Frisch’s, but NEVER again this one !

It was not very busy, maybe 7 tables occupied. Took several minutes to get seated, another 10 minutes to get our order & 20 more to finally get any drinks. Food finally came out another 20 minuteslater (but sat in the warmer hood forever)& was disgusting & not how we ordered. Server only came to take orders & drop the drinks off. Very poor experience & the food was just gross.

We had a great lunch at Frisch’s Big Boy! The place has a charm to it of days gone by, and the food was great. The salad bar, while slightly limited in its selection, was good. I really appreciated them having hand sanitizer available there, too.
The Super Big Boy burger (think a Big Mac, but better quality) was excellent. Our server was very busy with a lot of tables, but still was very friendly and took good care of us. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and you want a taste of classic Americana.

Our last visit showed that team work can survive an awful situation. They were very busy, short-handed and still provided good service and great food..and that was with one cook! Angela you were amazing!! Thank you for all you do!!

The food was delicious but the drive thru service was not. The lady was nicely rude (passive aggressive behavior). I say nicely rude because she smiled while being short and dismissive. She got our order wrong a couple of times when reading it back and seemed to be frustrated by it when she just simply got it wrong. Hopefully she was just having a bad day. The breakfast boy sandwich and spicy potatoes were good. I definitely would not go through drive thru again at this restaurant.
