Enjoyed my recent visit today. The food was hot and fresh with great tasting Frisch’s flavors. Service was poor, but expected with the current economic situation and pay scales. Restaurant is clean and well taken care of with great advertisement displays and comforting feeling while dining in. I plan to return again in near future for another great tasting dish.

The server, Samara H. was great. We had a large group, and she provided excellent service. The Big Boy was good, and the salad bar was good for nostalgia.

Server, Jennifer, was excellent. The breakfast bar was average. Maybe a little lower. I did get there about 45 minutes before it ended so that may be part of the reason. The place was a little dirty but I am sure that is because of how busy they were.

Terrific experience. I have been wanting to go to a Big Boy for some time now. Went in my youth and I don’t have one near me. Food was great and the service was wonderful. Madison was the server. She did great!!!

Although they replaced it, I threw the replacement away per the response to a complaint and attitude. Total waste of time spent in drive thru, fuel to get replacement and money then the cup the drink came in leaked thru into my cup holder. ☹️

I moved away from Dayton, Ohio, where I grew up, years ago and now just pass through occasionally. I had very fond memories of the extraordinary strawberry pie at Frisch’s. I was given a gift certificate for the restaurant and decided to go for a piece of pie. Well, the gift certicate covered the price of a whole pie so I was pleased to order one for carry out. The pie looked beautiful and delicious and I made a photo of it. It was beautiful, but it was not delicious. It was more like strawberry shortcake. There was no pie filling, just lots of strawberries in a pie shell. The strawberries were fresh and good, but the Amazing Pie apparently exists only in my memory now. I would not order it again.

I grew up near an Abdow’s Big Boy in Massachusetts. We’re on a road trip and saw the sign so we went in for a dose of nostalgia. Everyone was so nice to us! We got more food for our dollar than we expected and it was very good. And my mom was super pumped to buy a Big Boy bank like the one I’ve had for 30 years.
