Fringe Bar, set on the Delaware River waterfront inside a historical pumping station, is Philadelphia’s best experiential, active fun space. Dine in & enjoy our soulful pub cuisine, with a chef-driven menu inspired by his culinary experiences and the cultural melting pot that is Philadelphia. Stay for the parties, live music, quizzo, cabaret, or game day watch parties all under the Ben Franklin Bridge. Fringe Bar is also a wonderful wedding venue, hosting weddings and other special event for up to 500 people. Fringe Bar is attached to the FringeArts Theater, which has a 250 seat performance arts theater complete with a huge projection screen.

I have been coming to fringe bar for a long time and every time I have been, the food has been amazing. I was there for brunch today with a couple of friends and everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend the bacon egg burger, though I did not get it this time.

Great space. Horrible bartenders. Borderline rude. Especially the one with short hair. They act like they are doing us a favor. Smile. It wont cost anything.Is it that hard to find good bartenders in Philly? I am a former bar owner from NYC. These bartenders wouldn’t last a shift.
Horrible DJ. I love R&B, reggae and hip hop. DJ ( she). Was mixing a song every 30 seconds. 2 hours I was there, nobody is dancing. We got up a few times to dance. Before we start She changed the music. No one advice for a DJ, if people are not dancing you are not doing your job. It’s not your mixing that makes you a good DJ. It’s the amount of people on the floor. But she was having a great time by herself. Please don’t have a again. We left to go to another place around 11.30.

Loved the food, loved the drinks! We came for a friends birthday brunch & had a lot of fun! Everything we ordered was delicious! Highly highly recommend the espresso martinis!! Our server Jackie was amazing, attentive & sweet. We will definitely come back.
UPDATE: came here again a year later, service and food very mediocre. I tried a different dish, I had about 2 spoons of it and couldn’t eat it. The server saw I didn’t eat my food and didn’t offer if I wanted a replacement or anything. For the bottomless mimosas, bc they aren’t attentive, you’re waiting for a refill, but it’s a timed brunch? I didn’t think it was worth it. Our server was nice, just not attentive. The place was fairly empty, all the workers were just behind the bar talking or on their phone. Wouldn’t come back again, & definitely don’t order the shrimp and grits

Me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves for Brunch. The food was delightful as well as the mimosas. Our waiter Jimmy was great and very attentive. I will highly recommend to come here for lunch and get the chicken and waffles. I will also recommend sitting outside to enjoy the nice weather and beautiful view. I will definitely be coming again.

Dinner before a show. Great meal with service provided by Lucas. View from 2nd floor of the bridge & moon are in matched. Lucas & the chef provided split dishes with healthy portions. We were able to play a round of pool upstairs before the show. A local favorite that is always adapting the menu& events that make this a favorite of the neighborhood

Sights, smells and tasty sensations. Just an awesome spot to grab a bite to eat. Whether inside to see the fantastic conversion of an old riverside industrial building, or outside to take in the Ben Franklin bridge and and the Delaware River, there is not a bad seat.
The food on our visit was delightfully balanced and a perfect brunch time meal. The Philly Bagel sandwhich had a full range of flavors and the Fringe Benedict’s hollandaise sauce was perfection.
I need to issue a specific shout out to our server Jimmy. Jimmy was everything you would have hoped for in a server. A delightful personality, gave honest opinions on menu items, and seemed to show up exactly when we needed something. Could not ask for better service.

Loved their food here. This is an underrated gem in my opinion. The food is fantastic, and you cannot beat the view from upstairs of the BFB. Their bar is super cute and they have a huge screen for games. The service was fantastic and the vibes were great. Perfect for a group of friends and happy hour or dinner.

On a cold wintery day, a floor to ceiling window seat with a blue sky view. Our server was fabulous, fun, & quick to refill the bottomless mimosas. We each ordered a different entree and they were all perfect, crispy hot honey chicken and biscuits, and Benedict, sausage gravy, melt-inyour-mouth pancakes. 10 out of 10!

Absolutely delicious. I had the Vietnamese Salmon bowl and devoured it. The cheese curds were delicious. Drinks as well. Nobody else complained of their food. Atmosphere was good. Great seats with view of the bridge.
