What a gem Fringe was! We had great service and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the lamb pepperoni pizza and the funghi pizza, soup shots, and the homemade gelato (blueberry and Oreo flavors this week). The gelato flavors rotate every couple of weeks. Everything we ate was amazing with real attention to detail in the flavor pairings that felt like I was eating at a trendy restaurant in San Francisco or New York. The soup of the day was New England clam chowder and came in a cute little shot glass for $2. It was a darn good soup but the way it was served as a small appetizer to whet the palate before pizza was great. The owner came and talked to us a few times and provided recommendations from the menu and was very friendly. If you drink, they have a number of wines, beers, and ciders on tap that you can self-pour with a wristband to create your own flights as well. I highly recommend this place for both great service and great food!

I was here picking up some food today 12/04/2025.
I was patiently waiting at the bar for some person to acknowledge me and bring me the food it was ordered. Since no one helped me I went to the restroom and waited a little more.
I decided to sit at the bar and wait for someone to help me.
After someone else arrived and sit next to me, this person finally acknowledged me and said : ” you need to stand next to the register to pick up food” I replied I was there and no one helped me so that’s why I am here. So he started screaming at me.
I stand and headed to the register and someone else gave me the food I was waiting for.
I just wanted to say that if you don’t like interacting with costumers do not work on costumer service. Every person deserves to be treated with respect regardless of the skin color or nationality.

We had dinner here last week and thought the food was darn good. It was bustling and crowded when we arrived at half past 6, but the Happy Hour crowd quickly melted away and we soon had the large heated patio nearly to ourselves by the time our appetizers and drinks arrived. The food isn’t fine dining with fussy service and that jazz, but “pub food” is a misnomer; I’d call it elevated, but still relaxed, Italian. The Arancini was the standout among the appetizers to me. I thought they did an excellent Eggplant Parm, and I noticed right away that the side of pasta was well sauced, not under sauced as seems to be the sad trend elsewhere these days. My compatriots were delighted with their pizzas, salads and entrees as well. There’s a lengthy and intriguing beer list, though I found my glass of wine unremarkable. We will be back to sample more dishes soon!

I am thrilled to have stopped into Fringe today! I have seen it many times, and thought it was a hair salon, until I read the additional words on the window celebrating food and spirits, turned around and popped in to try. The team was very pleasant, attentive, and the pizza was delicious and presented beautifully — great texture to the dough, wonderful combo of fresh arugula and prosciutto — it’s my new favorite Boulder pizza! I highly recommend—

If you live in the Boulder area and you have not been to this restaurant, you are missing out.
This is such a unique dinning experience, And I’m afraid my words won’t do it the justice it deserves.
This restaurant offers Italian cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. So they had phenomenal appetizers such as fried olives and stuffed zucchini blossoms.
And that’s just for starters
The real star of the show is the amazing sourdough crust pizza’s.
These are not your run-of-the-mill pizzas. These pizzas are made from fresh sourdough starters, making the crust a specialty in itself. We had the Americano and another specialty pizza that’s name is eluding me. But it was amazing. down to the specially prepared pepper paste and fresh mozzarella cheese.
And if the pizza wasn’t enough, with fresh, authentic, Italian and Mediterranean ingredients… guess what….this is a pour your own brewery.
So how this works as you show your ID and then you are issued a wristband. The wristband gives you access to a plethora of local beer’s on tap, as well as specialty wines and ciders.
It was fantastic to be able to go do your own tastings and choose your own beer on tap.
A perfect compliment to the phenomenal pizzas and appetizers.
If I lived locally, I would be there weekly. This was a true Kaleidoscope of Flavor for your taste buds. an unassuming surprise from the appearance outside to to The culinary delights inside.
And just for fun, go to the women’s bathroom.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I know I was!

This place makes you cut your own pizza with worn out office scissors. Embarrassing no. Everyone working there seems like they hate life and would prefer to be literally anywhere else. Not their fault, I’m sure they’re all underpaid. Spend your money somewhere else!

Two of us stopped in on a pretty dead Sunday evening. We’ve been going to all of the pizza shops in and around Boulder to compare them and we’d seen the good reviews for Fringe, of course. We ordered a beer and a canned cocktail, but they were out of one of our first selections of beers and the canned cocktail was pretty awful. The beer we did get was above average, but not excellent. We also ordered two soup “shots” which were quite good. Finally, we got the lamb pep and the “sweet heat” pizzas. Both were above average but slightly below what we hoped for. The crust didn’t have that special airiness that we were looking for and the basil was a little light on the sweet heat. At $18 for a fairly small pie, we will try again but continue looking around at other joints, as well. Our only other comment was that our server was slightly off putting in her response to one of our questions, and their payment system apparently requires the server to hover over you while you enter the tip. We also note that the tip system is very confusing. On our first try to use it, we somehow tipped the server over $100, though they helped us correct it promptly. Like many, we are starting to get annoyed at the evolution of tipping culture though we don’t go out to eat if we aren’t prepared to tip commensurate with the service received. That said, we didn’t care for the tipping system at Fringe and will keep that in mind when we go out for pizza next time.

Today was my first visit, and it definitely won’t be my last. The pizza was incredible! It was freshly made, loaded with toppings, and full of flavor. The drinks were just as impressive! Everyone went above and beyond, you can truly tell they care about their customers. I highly recommend this place, and I can’t wait to come back!

We hadn’t heard of Fringe but we’ve in search of a good wood fired pizza and this came up. Its strip mall location is unassuming if not also a little unromantic, however, the interior decor is modern and there’s outside seating with heat for more charm.

More importantly, the food was delicious and service was friendly and knowledgeable. They’ve got some fun food and wine adventures with soup shots and pour-your-own wine, too.

Parking was easy and there was no wait to get a seat. Definitely recommend giving them a try.
