This is a really cool place to stop in and have a meal its off the hwy so you may need to go just past it to the next exit and turn around to get to it. They also have a stage and pool with a jukebox a bar. The place is big enough to host a event or even have a get together. So if your in the area drop in.

The staff was very friendly. The waitress was attentive and the manager stopped by our table. I ordered the Salmon plate – which tasted like it had been cooked in oil instead of butter and was slightly overcooked. We were a party of 4 and 3/4 of our table had no other complaints. Food and drinks/refills came out in a timely manner and nothing felt rushed. My biggest concern was in the bathroom: in the female restroom, (of the 2 stalls) one stall was gross and stopped up with sewage. There were bug bodies all over the floor and in the lights. The last concern I had was that we were attended to by a waitress. When I went to wash my hands, the sink was DRY. Just – food for thought.

I got the Matador Nachos.. they were good. We were just passing through town needed a quick bite. I think the menu is extremely overwhelming. Mexican, cajun, bbq and All American. Too many choices. Good prices.

I ordered the blackened salmon and an order of jambalaya… the salmon was over cooked and over salted. The jambalaya should be called something else… it wasn’t bad, it’s just not jambalaya. More like a creole or a sauce piquante…. Lay off the Cajun seasoning, that doesn’t make it Cajun. I’ll try something fried next time. And yes, I’m from Louisiana so I’m still trying to find good Cajun food in Texas.

I recommend the Shrimp Brochette and the Catfish Yvette! As for BBQ, I love their Chopped Beef Sandwiches oh and their burgers are the BEST in town!

Food wasnt good aside from the swamp fries, the restaurant was PACKED and no one, especially the servers did not wear masks. Heavily intoxicated guy was even allowed to smoke inside of the restaurant.

Just left this place. Staff was good and friendly. The fried shrimp was good, catfish was good. The fries sucked as did the dirty rice. They had no BBQ of any kind. No gumbo. My friend ordered a chicken fried steak to be on the safe side. This turned out to be crazy, it was a hamburger patty that was fried.

This place has the best burgers and the onion rings are awesome. My wife had the blackened fish and Étouffée she said it was amazing. An awesome place that has BBQ, Cajun, Burgers and a lot more. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. Nice laid back atmosphere and the staff is very good at what they do.

Absolutely terrible, the fish was cold. The crayfish wasn’t cooked fully, and the rice was still partly frozen. I do not recommend eating here for anyone. I payed 24$ for one plate and would’ve got more paying 5$ at McDonald’s. Nothing had any flavor whatsoever. Servers was great, food was absolutely terrible.
