The pollo fries were flavorful and well put together. The chicken was seasoned nicely, and the toppings added a good balance of texture and taste. It’s definitely a satisfying option if you’re craving something loaded and shareable, though I could’ve gone for a slightly larger serving.
The loaded pollo taco had good flavor as well. The chicken was cooked properly and paired well with the toppings. Everything tasted fresh, and nothing felt overly greasy or heavy. Again, my only real note would be portion size — the taco itself was a little smaller than what I typically expect for the price.
Overall, it’s a decent spot with good flavors and fresh ingredients. If you’re looking for a quick taco fix, it gets the job done — just don’t expect oversized portions.
The lady at the counter was super nice. The dining area was clean and roomy, which we liked.
We went for a shrimp quesadilla, asking for it crispy, and they nailed it. The sauces on the table were tasty, too. We also grabbed some street corn, and even though it was out of season, it was surprisingly good.
My wife went for three tacos: Al pastor, carnitas, and shrimp. The Al pastor was the winner by a long shot. She also got chips and beans, which she dug, and an Horchata that she couldn’t get enough of.
No doubt about it, we’ll be back for more of those quesadillas and Al pastor goodness.
Good portion for mom but maybe small portion for young ones.
