Fantastic bahni mi’s! Grilled chicken was super, bbq pork was also great. Their home made chilli oil was amazing. A bit on the pricey side but the size makes up for it. Would recommend for a great Bahn mi!

I got a takeaway crispy tofu banh mi, it was okay! The only problem was that the fried enoki mushrooms tasted like pork to me ao for me as a vegetarian i didn’t like that, my guesses are maybe they used the same frier for the mushrooms that they use for the pork too? I could be wrong! As I had take away I wasn’t able to go back and ask them,The service was really great, they were quick, very friendly and I would definitely go back I would just have the tofu banh mi without mushrooms to be safe.

No one.. and I mean no one.. creates flavours and dishes like Chelsea and Alex. Their food is next-level delicious, deeply authentic, and completely addictive. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I’ve become a full-blown devotee!
My family and I have been enjoying their culinary magic for over 10 years and we’re not stopping any time soon. When they made the move from Yarraville to Williamstown, we didn’t hesitate – we followed right along. It just feels right seeing them thrive in this space. They truly deserve every bit of success that’s coming their way.
I am a local photographer and passionate advocate for the West and nothing gives me more joy than seeing people prosper that truly deserve it.
Chelsea and Alex are a powerhouse and Friends of Pho is the proof. If you haven’t tried it yet, prepare to have your tastebuds changed for life.

Absolutely amazing new little Vietnamese restaurant in Williamstown! I ordered the roast pork baos and the meat lovers bun – both were next level. The baos were soft and packed with juicy, crispy roast pork that melted in my mouth. The meat lovers bun came loaded with crispy chicken, pork spring rolls, grilled pork, and fresh vermicelli – every bite was full of flavour and texture. Super fresh ingredients, generous portions, and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly too. This place is a hidden gem – I’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious healthy food that tastes authentic!. We love the food here (especially the baos and banh xeos). It’s well priced. Everything tastes fresh. We liked it so much we actually got them to cater for a family function for us.
We received so many compliments. The food was served beautifully. Chelsea and her team were so professional. And on top of all that, they gave us a great price. I don’t think we’ll ever host a party any other way! I highly recommend Friends of Pho.

Recently moved to the area, and saw the reviews which were good. We had uber eats, but the pho that arrived wasn’t in line with the reviews to the majority left for eating in.
Pho arrived in a bowl with noodles, meat and broth in same bowl, this usually isn’t the case with take out pho as usually the broth comes in a separate container. The noodles were extremely mushy and the beef very chewy and not much flavour. The chicken ribs were ok but nothing to write home about.
For the price of $80 we would expect much much more. Maybe the 5 star reviews are for eating in(which we haven’t tried) but I wouldn’t recommend take out from our experience tonight.

A hidden gem! I was the envy of the other diners when my meal arrived. I ordered the ‘Vietnamese Breaky’ on a steaming plate of beef in a delicious sauce with tomato and a perfect egg ( I flipped mine to make it over easy). The home made chilli oil is a must! I bought a jar to take home. The owners were so lovely and attentive. Highly recommend you check it out for lunch when in Williamstown. I can’t wait to come back!
