So, for this event we got cheeseburger and chicken sliders, chips, dips, veggies, and basically an open bar. What’s not to love! Personally, I liked the cheeseburger sliders best. The staff was friendly, and I truly loved the atmosphere. Guessing my son did too, because after the game we were looking for a bite and a beverage and he suggested we go back to “the place we went to this morning”! Like I’m gonna say no! We were seated upstairs, where the event was this morning. Again, waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Drinks did not take long, nor did the food, which we all really enjoyed. I got a burger, my husband got the catfish, and my son got the chicken tenders, or should I say 1/2 a chicken! The burger was great, would have preferred not a smash patty, but they were out of the buns for their other burger option so I couldn’t get that one. Either way, it was still great! Didn’t try the chicken, but did enjoy the sauces that came with it for my fries, especially the garlic one…yum! Thought my husband’s catfish sandwich was really good too. The drinks, well felt like they were on the excessively iced side, but again not too bad. Both visits we had some really good bands to enjoy, and it was just a great time for everyone. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic time if you find yourself strolling the music district of Nashville.
Shortly after, our server, Conrad, greeted us and provided outstanding service throughout the meal. He was attentive, professional, and went out of his way to make my son feel celebrated by displaying his birthday on the screen and generously providing a complimentary chocolate dessert. His thoughtful gestures truly made the experience memorable for our family.
During our visit, I was disappointed to learn that, with only a few exceptions, many Nashville restaurants bearing the names of well-known music artists have limited direct involvement from those artists. Most are owned and operated by hospitality companies that license the artists’ names, which was unexpected.
We were pleased to learn that Garth Brooks is genuinely involved in Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, which made the experience even more meaningful.
We sat for almost one round and the band finally came in very hard. A good rockin’ cover band with fiddle blasted away at several hits and finally played Charlie Daniel’s Band, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. About that time we were finishing our second round, and decided to start bar hoppin’ since I had seen the CDB live five times.
Very good sound at our position to the stage, with big flat screens everywhere. A great place to see a show. They even give souvenir plastic drink cups with the FinLP logo.
This is definitely one of the better bars we stopped in and actually hung out for a bit.
Don’t forget the gift store on the way out. Yikes!

The real highlight of our visit was our bartender, Erin. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone was having a great time. From the moment we sat down she brought great energy, kept the drinks flowing, and made the experience way more fun than a typical night out. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does and it shows in the way she takes care of her customers.
If you stop in, definitely hope you get Erin behind the bar!
