I may be a little biased but I grew up eating at friendlys all the time. Still the same great family atmosphere, the food is still amazing as i remembered and love the new food selections they offer. Also last but not least the ice cream is still as great tasting as ever and the selections on the ice cream alone is like no other. Me and my son shared the quesadilla appetizer while he ordered the Mac n cheese burger and I got the infamous honey BBQ supermelt which hands down is a must try.

Friendly’s always has a soft spot in my heart. The service staff were incredibly friendly, immediately on top of refills and on top of ordering. The place itself definitely needs a new look (but at the fault of the friendly’s franchise itself)but everything was clean and pristine at least. The food was warm rather than hot but didnt show any other concerning vibes. Icecream of course was as delicious as always!

We were having a late lunch with two of our friends at the Friendly’s in Vernon. The waitress, Veronica, was helpful with choosing what we should have. The service was excellent! Veronica brought our meals to us in about ten minutes! Our friends are reward members and encouraged me to sign up just before we were to pay the bill. Veronica was very patient while I was going through the process of signing up. She was very attentive throughout our meal and always smiling! We got to speak with Henry, the manager, to let him know what an asset Veronica is to his staff. Henry totally agreed, saying that he’s lucky to have such a great staff!

Good food, great company. The best part was our waitress Ashley C! I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better waitress at ANY restaurant. Our needs were met before even asking. Drinks refilled, food came quick, checked in right on time. She definitely seems like she came from a high end restaurant. So friendly and always a smile. Would come back just for her!

I was at Vernon Friendly’s Friday for lunch and John, our waiter was superb! We never felt rushed and he was very knowledge. It seems like everytime we go to friendly’s we enjoy our trip. Henry, the Manager has a great staff, and Henry takes the time to talk with us. Vernon CT is #1!!!

Had an amazing breakfast at Friendly’s this morning! ☕ Everything was absolutely delicious! nothing beats starting the day with a full, tasty meal and great vibes. Our waitress Jessie is and has been in the past absolutely wonderful. She’s happy to assist with menu questions, signing up to the fan club and always checks back with us in a timely fashion. We come here to this Vernon Ct location because of her and how well the whole restaurant is run. We’ve never had a problem in the past few years of stopping by. Thanks to a great staff we get to enjoy an experience at Friendly’s!!!!

We had such a great experience at the Friendly’s in Vernon, CT! Nicole L was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks were always refilled. The food was delicious, but Nicole’s kindness and service really made our visit extra special. The Vernon location is lucky to have such a sweet and professional person representing their company. We can’t wait to go back and hope to have Nicole as our waitress again!
