Friendly’s is a good place to bring kids. All kinds of family friendly foods. I have been going to Friendly’s since I was a kid. I even got to interview a leader from Friendly’s corporate while going through a Culinary program in college.
The food today was ok. It seemed like it sat a little bit before we received it. The tomato soup was like warm. The sandwich bread was crusty and dry.
But, we enjoyed our meal for the most part and it met expectations. I am sure we will be back. When you are accustomed to dining out at 4-5 star restaurants it is different experience in line with the theme. Cost effective, you’ll leave full and satisfied for the buck.

Something about my childhood came back when I went to scoop my order this afternoon. The staff was welcoming and the environment was child friendly! My food was 10/10 and the price was great! And the food was ready before I anticipated! Will definitely be back!

I took my son there today. There were three tables with customers plus ours. We sat for 15 min waiting for someone to acknowledge us. There were three servers. They just kept walking by, chit chatting about the snow with a women leaving. Not a hey I will be right with you or give us just a minute. Nothing. We got up to leave and I asked for the manager. When the fourth server told me it was one of the people I assumed was a terrible server was the manager- Cindy. I said never mind. How could you possibly ask your wait staff to use waitress etiquette when the manager doesn’t even. Won’t be going back.

$7.99 kids meal? That includes ice cream if they pick a specific one on the menu, however they have fantastic choices for any and every kid! He got the mini mozzarella sticks and a make your own sundae and I got the honey BBQ chicken supremelt with loaded waffle fries! 11 out of 10

Haven’t been to Friendlys in years so thought I would give it a try.
Waitress was nice and friendly however, asked for no tomato and got it anyway. Also got the wrong salad dressing…didn’t know until I poured it on my salad…then didn’t eat it (wrong dressing).
We used to get a piece of garlic bread with our soup and salad… apparently they stopped that..which stinks..was looking forward to dipping my garlic bread in my soup. Basically spent money on just a small bowl of soup. A bit disappointed

Just needed a quick lunch and they were perfect. Picked 2 the BLT and New England Clam Chowder. Bread was toasted and bacon was crispy while the tomato was fresh. Loved the chowder!

I’ve never stepped foot in a friendly prior from my visit today. What I thought was going to be a good experience with the family for a lunch ended up a disappointment, as soon as you walk in the front doors you are greeted with an order what I can only assume was old burnt oil . Against my better judgement I still wanted to give it a go. We were sat at a front end booth by the window and was greeted by flies flying around our booth and window. At this point I was done and left. The waiter was informed of the fly issues and she seemed unbothered. No apology, can we move you to another area, Nothing.

I had a wonderful experience here!! My serve Makenna was FANTASTIC! She was very well versed in understanding allergies. I have a gluten allergy so it was very comforting that she understood and I didn’t have to explain myself! I will definitely visit again soon and request Makenna as my server!
