Classic Friendly’s.

This location did not showcase the best conditions… it was very well lit and relatively empty when we got here, but full of signage and I saw a thumb-sized insect just slowly making its way across the floor. Ignoring that, everyone was super friendly and helpful and attentive. Food was filling and I enjoyed the chopped Doritos burger. Of course, the ice cream is where it’s at… and it’s fun to see that they still do the Monster Bash ice cream for kids just like how they did twenty years ago.

Everything was wonderful the service was great the clam roll and fries from senior menu were so good my friend had a double bacon burger (wanted it medium rare but could only get medium) but it was delishious. Saturday night at 8 but it was pretty empty. It was very clean and all was good.
I worked at friendly in different states and I always loved it. The only complaint I’d have is the meal prices. $9 for a hot dog $11 for grilled cheese almost $13 for a tuna roll and suoermelts being $15 is all very expensive. All sandwiches should come with soup and small ice cream or small milk shake. appetizers should be have price for happy hour everyday 7-10. My sister and I spent $70 on fisherman platters, coffee, ice tea and sundeas at friendly that’s too much.We are seniors. The senior menu needs to be more elaborate and affordable.Maybe give smaller more frequent rewards on the app. But I do love the food and the memories I’ve had from working there so I hope the restaurant will always be around I’m sorry one of the friendly closed in Concord.
. I wish I knew my servers name she was great there’s another nighttime one who wasn’t nice to my son and I and was very upset that we asked for a specific table but I told her I didn’t appreciate her attitude and we left. The next few times she was very nice and made up for it.

Great Staff! Hard worker always moving and taking care of everyone without rushing the customers. The cook this AM just did an outstanding job cooking the vegetables to perfection. Honestly great meal at a fair price without the pretentiousness of other breakfast establishments. It’s breakfast! Good food, great service with consistency every time.

I usually go here when craving sharing a sundae or ice cream with my family. Used to love the free sundae on my birthday….not sure if they still have the birthday club? I spent a lot of time here with friends when I was in high school because it was one of the only places open late. We’d drink the endless coffee, and play chess or talk about life. I’m glad they reopened.

Friendlys used to be good growing up but I will no longer recommend it.
Do not visit if you don’t have 3 hours to spare, VERY slow service.
Do not visit if you don’t enjoy little black hairs all through your food.
The wait staff just walks away before your done talking, resulting in the wrong order being brought out and having to be redone…this happened twice in one visit.

I wanted to relive the good ol days with my kids so they could experience the same joy that I did growing up and I was sad when they shut down most of them but I now realize they should probably just shut them all down if this is the quality and experience remaining in what few locations are left

The kids love to go here so figured we would try again. We had a previous poor experience over the spring. Went today figured it would be busy because of the holiday. Walked in there were a few people ahead of us. The dinning room didn’t seem to be too busy so I was a bit surprised with the line. While standing there we heard the people in the front of the line had been waiting there for 32 minutes and no one had even acknowledged them??? The “manager” I think she’s a manager (the reason we haven’t been back) seemed shocked that someone had been wasting so long and it was totally unacceptable they had been waiting that long and just walks away. They need to have a new manager that actually trains staff the correct way! The last time we went in she was literally hollering at a new employee so loudly it made both of us jump. She is completely unprofessional! A number of the reviews clearly reference her. We left today and didn’t even bother trying to be seated.

I brought my kids here for the same experience I used to have when I was little, and it was not disappointed.
My waitress Betty was an absolute treat and a joy to be served by. I would come back just to chat with her again!
The food was excellent! When there was a mistake with my food, they came out and told me they were going to correct it before it even got to my table, I wouldn’t have even known if they didn’t say anything. That kind of integrity is hard to come by these days!

We went in for a quick supper at 8pm on a Thursday evening. They appeared to be fully staffed. Once seated, it took 10 minutes for a server to speak to us, and another 45 minutes to be served. The server was surly and rude. The food was luke warm at best and very poor quality. The serving size was smaller than a child’s portion. This restaurant used to have standards. Truly unfortunate. NEVER GO HERE.

The food was good but there were pieces of burger in my waffle fries. Waitress was nice. Table was dirty and so was the menu and definitely the floor, it had crayons and silverware and napkins on it under the tables

We were seated quickly, the restaurant wasn’t full, menu choices were plentiful, but when I ordered fish and chips with malt vinegar, I was told that there was no vinegar available. I asked if they had any vinegar and still the same answer. I didn’t ask, but I’m fairly certain that they offered oil and vinegar as salad dressing, which would be acceptable. Note that this chain was founded in New England, where malt vinegar is routinely served with the dish. So I ordered grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. My wife ordered a burger. The soup came in a tiny bowl and was cloyingly sweet, the taste reminiscent of spaghetti-o’s without the Os. The grilled cheese was fair, but didn’t appear to be actually grilled. It was more like melted American cheese on toast. The burger was unremarkable, but not bad in any way. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The price wasn’t too high considering the recent economy.
