This is the second time I have had issues with the food quality. First time it was a BLT with one half piece of bacon and a tsp of mayo on one side of the sandwhich.
This time we ordered the pickle chips – and this is what we were served! Is this truly the portion size for an appetizer?? We had the same server who remembered the previous error. Yes they brought over an additional 8 fried pickles. The rest of the meal was fine. Maybe not worth going on a Sunday night?

Ive been coming to Friendly’s for 57 years. Although their revamped menu is very good and we are pleased this location was not closed during their recent reduction in locations. We were very disappointed that the staff couldn’t seat us despite 3 staff members seeing us standing at the counter. We actually walked out, which I never do! Ever! I can appreciate that staffing levels are limited these days and Friendly’s generally has always had slower service, which we have always been willing to put up with because the food is good and ice cream exceptional, BUT YOU MUST SEAT YOUR CUSTOMERS or your business is going right out the front door. I learned this at 14 in my first retail job. Train the staff at the ice cream counter to come seat people if the waitresses are busy. Train the wait staff to at least acknowledge you standing there rather than walking by and not even making eye contact. We will be back, but they are running out of opportunities with me. Chilli’s got our business that day. Do better, please! I’d hate to see Friendly’s go out of business.

Grew up w friendlys as a kid and love the then chain now a rarity. They always have great ice cream for anyones taste. Service was kinda of slow. Maybe shorted staffed. The food/ burgers were good but not hot as if just cooked. Good prices and decent atmosphere. I would wish corp would put some money to fix up the building. Needs sone renovations from wall paneling coming off the wall. Tables a little unsteady. Menus not clean and the atmosphere is not clean feeling. TakE care of this location and brand.

We came in with three crazy kids and Abryanna was nothing short of amazing! She was super friendly, consistently checking on us, and kindly making sure that the kids were finishing their food before dessert came out- a friendly reminder which was exactly what we and the kids needed. BEST FRIENDLY’S EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I stopped by the Friendly’s in Walpole this morning and the staff completely MADE my Christmas Eve. Every single person was beyond helpful, so kind, and genuinely fun to be around. The vibes were immaculate, and I honestly wanted to stay longer just to hang out with them. They went above and beyond to make my visit special, and I can’t recommend this location enough. If you’re anywhere nearby, you HAVE to go. Truly the best of the best!!! ✨

Everytime I go here the staff and customers are very family orientated.
My grandkids are a little wild (okay alot)
But the waitresses are fantastic.I keep apologizing, and they keep telling me to relax. Sometimes when i’m eating, I somehow get somebody’s little one next to me which is funny and great.And I asked them what they’re doing, and they tell me a story.And then sometimes my child goes over to the next table and they keep telling me to relax.It’s a really really atmospheric fantastic.

I love Friendly’s! In the 70s and 80s my folks would take us there as a special treat. I loved the Chocolate Fribble and the sundaes, the food was tasty. I miss not having a Friendly’s near me. I would go tonight but they are too far away. Almost everybody I know has a happy Friendly’s memory.

As a former Friendly’s manager I was excited to find this location. My grandson and I traveled hours stuck in traffic, we were hangry and didn’t hesitate to pull in. It’s ashame how few restaurants are still open.
My one and only issue is I had to send back my chicken wings, I ordered flats well done and I heard the fry cook complain that I sent them back. I see here in the reviews the chicken wings were a problem for someone else two months ago. Simple solution: INCREASE THE CHICKEN WING FRYER TIME.
My server and I believe the manager ensured that the second batch (sorry no photo) were well done crispy flats. I appreciate you two ladies, I apologize I dont remember your names.
The restaurant was clean and the food was great.
Definitely going to be our Wella & The Baby’s pit stop when we head back to the area.

I ordered a Bacon Mac and cheese burger and this is what I got. I ordered take out and called immediately when I noticed. I requested to speak to a manager I believe named Kara and she stated she would give me a refund and that never happened. Go else where….
