Colleen and Margo made our dinner at Friendly’s a relaxing, fun evening. They were attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. Also recommending sundaes when we couldn’t make up our minds. Having not seen a Friendly’s too many places nowadays, it was great to stop in to this childhood favorite for a good meal and good service. As always, the food did not disappoint, everything was fresh, and tasty! And neither did the service, thanks Colleen and Margo.

Good place to take kids for a nice ice cream treat, and have a nice sandwich. Restaurant is always clean, and there is usually not a wait here. Price is comparable to other casual dinning chains, although ever since they did away with the meal deal combo’s what you get for the price you pay is starting to loose its appeal.
Getting the cheap chicken sandwich, drink, and an ice cream, Just does not seem to have the same value as going to Red Robin, getting unlimited steak fries, and a Tavern burger, and a drink.

Waited thirty minutes after being seated and nobody came over to take our orders. Less of a review, more of a warning – we did not, at any point, feel welcome or like we had entered a restaurant. I recommend avoiding it!

Skylee gave me this Shirley Temple when I asked for Cotton candy drink which I get every time. She tried telling me with attitude that it was a cotton candy drink…lol.
We had no silverware & had to wait awhile for them.
Skylee also spilt water all over my step mom & the table & didn’t even offer more napkins.
There wasn’t much room to eat our ice creams because she didn’t take any of our plates from our meal. She also reached her arm over my ice cream & touched it . My fathers ice cream was wrong.
We got our appetizer when we got our meals.
My little brothers & sister kids meal straws had a hole in it. I’m pregnant & have to use the bathroom bad & couldn’t even use it because it was that disgusting. Never going back again. What happen to Friendlys it’s so sad.

The food was okay, I would stick to burgers and fries. The customer service was excellent. Waitstaff was friendly and food came out quickly.

I have not been to a Freindly’s in like 3 or 4 years. I have been at this Friendly’s once before. The restaurant condition inside was maintained quite well; like in new condition. The on duty manager & employees were working very hard. The restaurant was very busy; yet because if the great efforts of the staff, the service was excellent. My 3 selection meal course & dessert for an extra $1 99 was most enjoyable. Thank You, job well done!

Food used to be good a few years ago now its just gross. Portions get smaller and smaller and everything tastes like it was frozen and microwaved. Always flavorless and squishy. But even worse than the food is the service. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or what but expect to wait forever at the front desk before you’re even acknowledged. If you’re ordering take out don’t be shocked when you show up on time and still have to wait for your food. Last time I ordered take out I had to stand there for 15 minutes while they finished making my food just to find out nobody had ever made the ice cream. Never any attempt to make it up to you either, they would rather act like you’re inconveniencing them by expecting them to do their job. I now see why all the Friendlys in the area have been closing over the past few years.

It is truly amazing how far this once iconic New England restaurant has fallen. Even the ice cream can’t save what will eventually become of this business. I predict by this time next year they fold up. This is hard for me to write as it was once my favorite place to take the kids out to eat. We have had some great times there over the years. Tonight was rough. We went in for ice cream at 8 pm and got our order at 9. There were 4 other people in the entire restaurant so not even remotely busy. Our server (Allssa?) was apologetic and she is being wasted in a place that doesn’t pride itself on service. It hasn’t in a long time. Floors were dirty and not one person said good night or acknowledged us when leaving. Our ice cream was fine taste wise but one sundae was missing about a 1/4th of the ice cream while another of the same kind was to the top. The to go frenzy was nearly 1/2 empty. I’d complain but it took so long to make them I didn’t dare. I can say with 100% certainty that after hundreds of meals there this is the last money spent there for our family. Sad.

I am very surprised to see the reviews for this location. I come here once a week and have never had a bad experience! Sure, service can be slow sometimes but you can tell the staff is doing their best. I see new faces all the time when I come in so clearly they are trying to build up their staff and some may still be learning. The restaurant industry was hit hard over the last year or so. Be kind and be patient, they are doing their best and after day in and day out of all of this negativity I don’t know how these kids even show up to work with a smile anymore.
