Great spot, newly renovated and new owners. The Bloody Mary bar is awesome. The breakfast was very affordable and surprisingly good for a bar. Overall this place is a blast and the evening atmosphere doesn’t disappoint! If you are looking for 5 star dining this isn’t your place but for bar food it gets a 5 star.

The renovated friendly tavern looks great. The big new window overlooking the beach and a nice paint job brighten the place up while keeping the feel and spirit of the old classic joint. The food is very good. The friendly clucker is a massive and delicious breaded chicken sandwich. The Philly cheesesteak isn’t bad either.

Friendly Tavern is back open all remodeled and better than ever from the hurricane damage. Bill, the Night Heron can be found on the outside deck… after sundown.. Don’t feed Bill…unless of course you just happen to drop a piece of fish (Bill is a meat eater). He loves those, so I hear.

Had a group of 24 from our condo last night for dinner and karaoke at The New Friendly Tavern. What a wonderful time. New menu with great tasting food, Nicholas the Mgr took great care to see that all was ok. Danielle, waitress and Devin, waiter were outstanding, kind, friendly and very attentive in a packed place. They made our night enjoyable. Our group had fun singing, and dancing to all the songs.

The new Friendly Tavern is wonderful! We have been visiting this karaoke beach bar for over 30 years. The new owners are amazing along with the beautiful renovations they made to the place! The food is fabulous, especially the authentic Philly cheesesteak- one of the best we’ve had in Florida! The karaoke DJ, Michael is professional, kind and provides a great, fun experience for all! We love it!

The food was great. We were served quickly. The staff was wonderful and worked as a team. There was an error with our order which was replaced quickly. The mistaken order was given to us for no charge. Our experience was so very nice. You can park in the lot next door, if needed, with no problem.
