Me and my partner went to Buffalo NY as our family road trip, and made a pitstop here at Friendly Chinese Buffet. It had a really cozy atmosphere, staff were incredibly friendly, and really affordable prices, considering how much you can eat if you’re really hungry. I would come here again!

The food in this place was not that great. They had lots of trays of different kinds of foods. Some of it was edible. It was cold inside and they had cold air blowing in from the upper vents. It made the food cold on your plates. The price is way too expensive at $16.99 for dinner. That does not include the drinks. Not sure if I would go back there.

Well you serve your self, please read the prices before you go and I say some food was worth going especially if you get it from the flat top grill

Great food & service. Visited this place during our day-trip to Buffalo city from Toronto!

There food collection is huge and trays are being regularly refilled as it was a busy Sunday lunch hour.

Hope to drop by again if driving by the area anytime soon.

They have one of the largest selections and varieties of food compared to other Chinese buffets around Buffalo. The restaurant itself is very large with spacious seating, and the food was never ending. Vegetarian options are clearly marked, and there were many to choose from. My kids especially liked the many ice cream options with toppings! They had interesting cakes too- most buffets all carry the same pre-made desserts, but these were unique.

Normally i have a good amount of things to say about a restaurant but i have very little this time around lets start to the few positive things
1. (The price) overall its about 16.99 for dinner buffet on mon-thu which isnt awful in my opinion.

2. (The food the good) a few of the options were actually pretty decent i really liked the chicken on a stick and there sweet and sour the desert is okayish to

3. (The bad) the rest of the food is very mediocre either overcooked or has been left out to long and is stale/cold the shimp all wernt deveined but thats my preference. Now for the big thing the ice cream bins were not labeled and my partner got some and went to eat a bite thankfully i tried a bite first and it had peanut butter in it as they have a penut allergy that could have been very bad. I had caught the staff glaring and speaking under there breath multiple times saying rude things about guest creating a somewhat hostile feeling environment. Overall i would not recommend this place as both times ive gone ive left dissatisfied and frustrated and felt unwelcome

It was absolutely freezing! The price 90.23 was outrageous for the food being not good. (2 adults) (2 kids) (3) (13) The food was cold and some even being burnt. I don’t recommend! The atmosphere could also be better cleaned up!

Went to lunch with my daughter for her 16th Birthday and they KICKED US OUT; not privately at the table either, on the floor in front of everyone when we went to get her ice cream! They said we were wasting food. I HATE WASTE! We hadn’t gone for awhile but filled up on our favorites.. they happened to be cold, not cooked right, bland, and just down right tasted very different. If I would’ve known that then we would’ve took smaller portions, but we did when we went up for the “fresh food” being put out, and finished what we could on our plates. But it’s a freaking Buffet, on my kids BIRTHDAY, so yes I let her pick out different desserts to try because we paid to do that; we didn’t like most of them and decided on ice cream that we didn’t even get to scoop. BEYOND degrading and embarrassing, especially because they wouldn’t even listen just talked over us, so we walked out! NEVER GOING BACK!

When in the Buffalo NY area, this is my go-to Chinese buffet and well worth the drive and value. It’s approximately $20 US for lunch per person but yet still a lot cheaper than Mandarin – even with Canadian currency exchange . Food is always fresh and has a good selection of appetizers, entrees, main course and desserts. Staff is friendly and refills are always free.

All the food trays were either empty or almost empty, and we got there 2 hours prior to closing. With what was presented, half of it was cheap American food or junk from the dollar store(who goes to a Chinese buffet for mashed potatoes and apple pie and 75% of the desserts were from the dollar store next door ). The waitress was very pushy about clearing the plates. She brought us the bill before I even finished my first plate. I asked a person who was bringing out food where the plastic takeaway sauce containers were for the sushi sauces, and she just rudely flailed her arm. I had no clue what she was trying to tell me. Come to find out, the containers were stocked behind the register because that makes sense. This is the first time I left a buffet still hungry.
