I was trying to find a place to get some decent food and I was told to try out Fried Green Tomatoes. I got the. Rice/broccoli casserole with cabbage, fried pork chops and the sweet and spicy chicken. The rice casserole was very cheesy and well made same for the cabbage and pork chop. I didn’t really care for the sweet and spicy chicken. I need more sauce. I would definitely come back here to try the other food options. As for the atmosphere it was your typical food restaurant. I spent about 10 dollars for the meal. They also give you cornbread as well.

We were just driving through and got a little hungry. I’ve been craving some good fried chicken lately and I saw the sign for Fried Green Tomatoes southern cooking cafeteria. We’re not from Fort Valley, but the way everyone smiled and greeted us, you’d think we knew each other our whole lives. That’s was the “hook” for me. Once we ordered and sat down to eat, the chicken was good, not so fatty and not too salty. The mashed potatoes almost melted in my mouth! And the best part was the red velvet cake for dessert. I had to stop myself from eating it all so I could take it home to Columbus and share with my daughter who loves red velvet just as much as I do!
Kudos to the owner and to the gentleman behind the food bar serving us our food. Sometimes good vibes is all it takes to make for a great experience! The food was big bonus

The food is absolutely delicious! Bring your appetite, though. The helpings are quite generous. The Peach Cobbler is probably the BEST I have ever eaten!!! I will definitely eat here again when I return to town.

This was my first time visiting this location and it didn’t disappoint. The food was seasoned and cooked well. I think it was prepared my Hispanics. So you know it had flavor!!! Not that any other race wouldn’t. I just enjoyed it. I had the fried pork hops, cabbage, and yams. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was clean and the servers were knowledgeable and friendly.

There was no air conditioning. It was 90 degrees. We drove three hours to meet family there and had to squeeze in because the seating is not adequate and we all had sweat dripping off of our noses trying to eat. Plus, they serve fried rice and have no soy sauce and chicken and chicken livers and have no ketchup. At all.

Food was hot and delicious. Staff friendly and courteous. Price was quite reasonable. Friends told me I should try this place and glad I did. Young man that took my order was great. Wish I had gotten his name. I highly recommend the Ft. Valley Fried Green Tomatos location.
