The refried beans and rice are delicious! My steak tacos were pretty tasty the homemade salsa that came with the warm chips is excellent! I used the salsa on my tacos. The pineapple soda was so delicious.

Fridas never disappoints and we honestly haven’t had a bad meal or experience here since they opened. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. This has become our favorite spot in Ithaca for Mexican food!

We’ve been looking for a good Mexican food restaurant for the year and half we’ve been living here and we were not disappointed with our visit to Frida’s today! The food was fresh and delicious! The food was prepared with a short wait and the staff were very helpful and friendly!

Food is amazing and very well priced. The queso is insanely addictive. Every time my wife and I have gone we are blown away. Complimentary chips and salsa are above and beyond. We plan on going back a lot

this place was amazing! they have a menu in the windows before you even walk in! walking in, the place is beautiful. I love the art everywhere!! We immediately got seated and were given chips and salsa with bowls for each person. The menu is designed very nicely and the art on the cover was beautiful. We also got asked for drinks about a minute or two after being seated. The waitress was amazing, im not sure if she was the owner or anything or just a server but amazing. We got our food within 10-15 ish minutes after ordering. The food was amazing! Amazing place, 10/10 recommend if youre in ithica craving for authentic mexican food!!

The food was excellent and a really great value. The meal started with chips and salsa. The chips were warm and salsa had a great flavor. A little smoky and peppery, but really tasty.
We each got lunch entrees: flautas and a burrito. Each came with generous portions and was more than enough to leave us full.
Inside of the restaurant the aestetic and menus were beautiful, super bright and colorful. There was even a really cool mural in the bathroom.
We saw so many good things on the menu that we want to try. Especially with how expensive it is to eat out these days, we ate so well for what we could have spent on fast food.
I hope many will consider giving Frida’s a try so that it may thrive.

Hubby and I had lunch here today and we were very pleased. He is from Southern CA so we are always on the search for “real” Mexican food. He gave it a thumbs up for authenticity.
And there were a lot of people there on a Tues so that’s good to see!
Cute place/decor and in the summer the side patio dining will be a great plus.
For me I had horchata and it was great. Usually it’s watery in Mexican food chains but it was thicker and really yummy. I also had the Bamba Burrito. Super great. We also had a chicken rolls appetizer and also really well done.
And the service was great. We will definitely be back.

We have been to Frida’s several times in the last two weeks and we are so pleased! Whether for dinner with friends or a quick lunch during the week, the service has been quick and the food is delicious! Their takes on TexMex classics are reliably tasty (who knew chile rellenos without batter could be so good?) and I have had a few new dishes that I absolutely loved (leftover papa Monterrey made a terrific breakfast with eggs and the quesadilla Mexicana was incredibly good if a little greasy from the chorizo). The mixed drinks are the only things that weren’t stellar- just okay- so we will likely stick to beer or horchata. Decent sized portions, reasonable prices and very friendly staff means we will definitely be regulars! Also- the murals are stunning!!!!

More than worth the $! $16 combination platters are HUGE and absolutely delicious! Grab a friend and order to share plates. The sauce used for the chicken in the quesadilla is downright drinkable, burritos are Devine, and the chili rellenos are chefs kiss. Will eat through the entire menu before starting again!
