Great to have this regional restaurant open once again with all the COVID issues going on. The chicken wings are just as delicious as I remember them!
Staff is super-friendly, as always, and just happy to have customers back! Of course, things are different now, but everyone is taking it in stride. The atmosphere is still fun and upbeat. Great to be back!

Stopped in after a show at Niswonger and it was great. Our server, Savannah, was sweet as all get out and was wonderful to my daughters. Overall great experience. Definitely will return if we can have hee every time.

Service was terrible, servers were rude, inattentive, brought stale (maybe rotten) cold food when it finally came, and refused to fix the check when we told them we weren’t splitting. It was a half full house, so no excuse for basics like not refilling drinks or at least bringing hot fresh fries.
The patrons in the restaurant alternated glaring at my friend (an African American), muttering slurs and ignoring her. It was a hostile environment so we ordered the fries, a few wings each, and escaped.
Logically, restaurants stand up for their patrons when they’re getting bullied, but not this one. I didn’t want to believe Donavyn’s account but I guess it was true.

Visiting a friend here in Van Wert, Ohio & stopped at this Frickers to grab some supper. Was not impressed. As people I know saying “oh try this place, best chicken around” Ummm no. Yeah it was nice n hot n fresh but absolutely no flavor in the breading. They do not make there wings ‘wet’ as to what the waitress said. They do not have buffalo seasoning sauce. When I think of ‘wet’ chicken wings I think of mild buffalo sauce on them. So I tried a lil cup of their bourbon BBQ sauce, it was just ok. The one thing I really liked was the beer cheese with the pretzel bites. (Definitely try those) Our waitress was ditzy & kept forgetting things. Maybe she was having a bad day, still tipped her well. 😉 Could be a great place to go & grab some alcoholic drinks & watch a sports game for people but I do not drink nor do I watch sports. This place reminds me of a Buffalo Wild Wing (BWW) restaurant. The game room had 8 games to play. Which to me wasn’t interesting enough to play but when I was leaving I seen this Chucky Chevy sitting out in the parking lot & this totally made my experience at Frickers so much better lol 😀

It was good and reasonably priced. I had the Ribs and wings naked with a ceaser salad that was ok with it had some cheese on it. I will try the house next time. The ribs rest was good. The drinks were priced very well.
