Freshies originated in 2004 when our customers began requesting fresh food. Maine needed something different than the traditional convenience store, that went beyond just gasoline, tobacco, and beer. This led us to taking hold of the opportunity to reinvent ourselves into something new to better serve you, to reinvent ourselves into a program focused around fresh food and healthier options.

Good afternoon, I just wanted to express that the cashiers aren’t there for the customers, the majority of the time when I stop they are talking in a group ignoring customers so there seems to be a long line. Tom is great with the customers, always friendly and attentive to the customers. Maybe they need to have a customer service workshop.

A very nice convenience store gas station with fresh sandwiches and a premate or you can have one made to order with a real reasonable price. About anything you would need at a convenience store gas station. It has a little bit of everything.

We bought $10.00 in gas and they took all the money off our door dash card. First of all its christmas morning, we were hoping to door dash for our customers today but freshies drained our account so we could not door dash for christmas. This is disgusting. They said the money will be put back into my account in 24 hours. I need that money! How rude!

Either the kitchen is in fact open till 9PM or it closes at 8:15 PM which is it? 45 minutes to shut down the pizza maker seems excessive! Either edit your deli hours to reflect the 8:15 PM close time or stick with 9! Not that hard! Just post your actual times when you can make pizzas etc in the kitchen instead of one employee saying they are open till 9 and you call to order a pizza at 8:20PM to be told they shut everything off at 8:15!

They no longer make their own unsweetened iced tea. They have not advertised this. It just always looks like it is out. But they are not making it any more. I had to ask and was told this today. When I asked if they would be providing some alternative in the refrigerators I was told that they probably wouldn’t. They do not have a single unsweet tea option. I asked if I could make a suggestion to a manager for the purchase. The gentleman at the counter did not want to give me that information and said that he would pass it along. I have already conveyed this request to another worker over a month ago and nothing has changed. This place used to feel like a nice family run business. Lately it feels like they don’t care and I don’t feel like spending my money here anymore.

The food is good, but it’s too bad their Freshies staff have absolutely no idea how to follow a recipe. Every single time I order one on THEIR specialty pizzas, they leave off an item or add an item that has no place in the recipe. Is it lack of caring? Can they not read? I have no idea.
