The girl at the front was not very polite. The pikliz was not very good, the large griot looked more like a medium and the medium looked more like a small. They need to put more griot in the large serving because $27 is a lot to pay for such a small amount of griot. I don’t think I’ll be going back there.

10/10 Lovely people & amazing food. I placed my order through Uber Eats and followed up with a call to see if I could switch some items around & it was not a problem ! My food came freshly cooked with great flavor. My hubby also stopped by this restaurant weeks prior & was treated kindly & served as he dined in. We are deeply appreciative of the amazing customer service & great taste that Fresh Venus delivers !

Okay yall need to stop lying about this food. This is not the same Venus from back in the day. The person cooking this food probably got some high blood pressure or cholesterol. Where’s the flavor????? White rice has no salt at all. This is not Haitian white rice. The pasta salad they gave. What is this Al dente pasta with oil? Horrible. Boulette (meat ball) is trash!!!! Griot no taste, just taste like boiled pork. I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied. I spent $62 on this food. The prices are ridiculously high for the food to taste like this.

First I would like to congratulate them on their customer service, it is beyond exceptional! The staff there is very friendly, they go out of their way to make sure you’re getting what you need. Especially the owner, he’s super nice, jovial, and always interacting with the clients. Haiti is always the topic, the culture, women, and the food. Now, let’s get to the food! Komanman! Mpa gen bouch pou m pale mesye! The food is “koupe dwèt” and you see what you’re paying for. Bagay malè nèt nèt! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good experience with Haitian food and service. They’re the best hands down, from servers to cook/chef and the owner. Mwen ba nou respè, se sa ki rele biznis. Kontinye konsa!

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!! Old haitian man who was behind the counter was rude and nasty. He was on the phone the entire time I was there. Didn’t even acknowledge us right away and he insulted my partner, not knowing we understand creole. I have never encountered such poor customer service. I asked how big the portion sizes were and he couldnt even tell me. How can u work at a restaurant and not know things like that. I can now understand why the restaurant was empty and not one table was filled. Im a strong believer that how u treat people is how u will be treated in return. Horrible person who sadly ruined the reputation of the restaurant. People like that don’t prosper.There are better Haitian restaurants to visit with better employees. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Negative energy is all you will find here.
