Absolutely the best sandwiches, made fresh to order. Best eatery near Fredericksburg. This place is a must try. The Tuscan Chicken panini is fabulous. However, so is the TX Hill Country Philly. You just cannot go wrong with any choice.

High prices & small portions. The $16 hill country cheesesteak sandwich was about 6 inches and it wasn’t good. Havarti cheese and horseradish… on a cheesesteak. I knew better but was starving. Don’t forget it comes with a tiny bag of chips! THAT makes it worth $16, right? Don’t forget to tip!

Sandwiches and wraps are pre-made. Nothing special and not custom made. Found it quite expensive…$22 for a wrap and an iced tea. Nice and friendly service. There is cover outside seating. Not the nicest view…it is basically part of a gas station. Plenty of parking and clean restroom.

Fresh Pickens provides a refreshing stop along the way on the Ranch Road right before entering Fredericksburg from the east . With a variety of fresh fruits and a large assortment of jellies, honey, charcuterie and cheeses it a great alternative to gas stations stores. Sandwiches and salats are a great alternative. The stores also has small cute kitchen gifts and gadgets. Definitely this is a must stop. The personnel at the store are very courteous and nice. Well done!!

Our first visit was after a honeymoon night to Fredericksburg. Then again today with two children. I love the market feel of the outer part, the local produce and open air! Sandwiches are fresh and delish! Chip options, good quality. Try the rosemary flavored chips! Will remember this for our next visit through the area!
