We were at WVU for a day trip, and I am so thankful that I stopped here!! The manager was so kind, easy to talk to, hard working and his restaurant looked meticulous! As I was waiting for my to go order he gave me a mango lassi on the house….I’m telling you it was so delicious and nice and refreshing before my lunch. I ordered the tandoori chicken with naan… AMAZING!! What a great combination of amazing flavors, tender chicken with and amazing crunch from its crispy exterior. Much to my surprise, he had placed another treat in my bag for dessert. I cant say enough positive things about this restaurant! Thank you for sharing your gift of cooking! Highly recommend and will be back for sure!

This is where Fresh Mint Indian Grill really shines. We started with freshly baked Naan bread—first the plain, then we had to go back for more and tried the onion Naan as well. Honestly, we could have just made a meal of the Naan alone! For our entrees, we had the chicken kebabs and the Kadai Chicken. The kebabs were perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the Kadai Chicken—sautéed with diced onions, green peppers, garlic, and a blend of Indian spices—was melt-in-your-mouth good. Every bite tasted fresh and flavorful. It did take a little time for the food to come out, but you could tell it was made to order with high-quality ingredients.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in Morgantown, this hidden gem is well worth the visit.

We’ve been to the restaurant a few times and the food is always good. We usually enjoy the non-veggie platter on weekdays but have tried other menu items and they didn’t disappoint. The portion size is also generous
Last time we went, one of my kids didn’t want anything on the menu so the server and kitchen were accommodating and tried to find a solution that would please him (which in this case was no sauce on the orange chicken. Yes, it was just plain fried chicken nuggets, which he was happy with)
But not only did they do that, they also went above and beyond and brought fries too, other than the rice that accompanied the dish as well. Everyone ate well and was happy

Haven’t had Indian food since living in Florida so it’s been 3-4 years. My family including our two young daughters ages 6 and 10 agreed to try something new last night for dinner. As soon as we walked in the restaurant smelled incredible with multiple spices in the air and the food was just as incredible. Both my girls chose orange chicken off the kids menu that came with rice and naan. My youngest told I have to give them a 10 star review because the food was SO GOOD. Definitely a place we recommend and will return to!

This was our first time trying an Indian restaurant and we loved it. The waiter was very attentive, charming, and nice. They had lovely decor and a clean space. The Indian music was a pleasant touch to the atmosphere. We started with the Samosas and Gobi Manchurian. Loved both of them. Then we got the plain naan bread (best ever). For entrée s we got the Kadai Chicken(aromic spices and bursts of flavor) and Chettinad (spicy but sweetish curry) and for dessert we got the Pista Kulfi (pistacho ice cream).
The only sad thing is that we are just visiting the state and we don’t know when we’ll ever be back

This was my first is it since before covid and my husband’s first ever visit. The staff were extremely polite and offered suggestions throughout our meal. Everything was delicious! The Bollywood music playing on the television made the environment serene. There was plenty of space between us and other customers, and we enjoyed the privacy.

We visited our son in Morgantown and during every visit we try some place new. We decided on Fresh Mint and we were very pleased with the very knowledgeable and friendly staff, the generous portions, and the quality of the food. The curry could have been hotter. Side note: some of we Appalachians love spice and I’m not kidding when I say make it “Indian hot “. . The only place I’ve had better Indian food was Nawab in Charleston, but this was still divine. Also Fresh Mint had many dishes I haven’t tried before. If you enjoy the delightful spicy complexity of Indian food you really should try this place!

10/10-Everything was absolutely delightful! The staff were very helpful. We ordered vegetable pakora for an appetizer. My husband ordered the Tandoori chicken(spicy) and I ordered the butter chicken(medium). Both of us got garlic naan. For dessert we ordered pista kulfi and gulab jamun. I fully recommend to try all of these.

I want to sincerely thank James for his incredible kindness and service. I wasn’t able to visit Fresh Mint Indian Grill myself, but James — the owner and a wonderful soul — went out of his way to personally deliver food to me, even at the very last moment before closing. The noodles he made were absolutely delicious — so flavorful and comforting, they instantly reminded me of my mom’s cooking.
I was exhausted, hungry, and unable to step out of my apartment, and this thoughtful gesture truly made my day. The food was fresh, perfect, and made with so much love. Running a restaurant isn’t just about making food — it’s about serving with heart, and that’s exactly what they do here.

The Fresh Mint in Morgantown is mine and my family’s favorite restaurant. The Chef Smit Sharma makes Amazing delicious food and everything tasted perfect. The service is always very polite and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Our favorite things to order is the Mixed Grill, Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma, Paneer Tikka Masala, Chili Paneer, Spring Rolls, Palak Paneer, Samosas and we have had all of their desserts they are amazing!!!! This is a must try Restaurant 10/10
