I eat here pretty often, and it used to be one of my favorite places, but my most recent experience completely changed that. The customer service I received was so poor that it honestly made me never want to return.
I believe the employee’s name was either Alyssa or Kylaa, but I’m not 100% sure she did state that she was the manger. Whoever it was, she was extremely rude both in person and over the phone. While I was in the drive-thru, she slammed the window in my face simply because I asked for my receipt after thinking I may have received the wrong change. I wasn’t being disrespectful — I was genuinely confused about my change.
For clarity:
• I paid with a $20 bill
• My total was $14.07
• I was given $6 back, but no coins
Since I didn’t receive the coins I expected, I asked for the receipt to understand the breakdown. After checking the receipt, I noticed it didn’t list how much change was owed back, which explained my confusion. I also had no idea the restaurant charges a to-go/drive-thru fee, which was disappointing to learn.
When I called after the incident to calmly explain that slamming the window was rude — especially while I was still speaking — she cut me off multiple times, blamed me for having an attitude, and said asking for my receipt made her feel like she did something wrong. She even stated she was “mad” because my charge had been rounded up and how I should actually be happy because she gave me more money and technically how I should’ve owed her more.
If she hadn’t slammed the window while I was still talking, she would’ve heard me say, “Okay, thank you” before driving off. The entire interaction was unprofessional, unnecessary, and extremely uncalled for.
It’s unfortunate, but after that experience, I refuse to return. I used to genuinely love this place, but I will not continue supporting a business that allows that level of customer service.

Food is amazing. You will not be disappointed. The hot sauce is to die for. It’s not hot and It’s extremely good.
Naturally, it’s a little warm inside during the heat of the day. They have amazing little place to sit out front with ceiling fans when it’s cool. I’m always very observant of the kitchen. The food is handmade and fresh. Sorry for not posting a picture of my quesadilla, but I ate it before I could. There is RV, 18 wheeler parking next-door plenty of room.

We went through the drive thru and whoever took our order was extremely rude. I was cut off multiple times and told to pull forward before i was finished ordering. when i got to the window i noticed on the receipt i was charged for chips and queso. i had my queso but no chips so when i asked for chips the window was slammed with no response. Eventually she came back with some chips. The name on the ticket was Kinleigh. We will not end up going back because of this experience. save ur money and go to taco bell instead.

Tex mex was so amazing the first few times we visited. But the last two times it’s been a total disappointment. Something changed.
Today chips were stale but both quesadillas were so full of grease!
Wish I would’ve took a look in my bag before leaving!

My son and I stopped in tonight at about 7:30 and ate. . we are so glad we did! The service was fast, the employees friendly and polite, the portions are big, freshly made, and absolutely delicious! We originally got our order to go but enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we stayed and enjoyed our meal on the patio. As we were eating, we were offered samples of their new drinks that were absolutely delicious! 10 stars. . highly recommend!

Rude staff at drive thru window. Every time I go through the drive thru they are so rude and cut you off when you are trying to order. They need to take some customer service classes. I mean every woman that works that window when I go through is rude. They don’t say thank you or anything. Just hands you your food and closes the window. Very unacceptable!
