First time here. Food was very good. Everything was made to order and the cashier (may have been the owner) was very helpful. And after bringing us our food came and checked on us several times to make sure everything was good. Very good experience and great food! Will definitely come back.

Decided to try this place for lunch and thought it was interesting that an Indian place had salads. Got the chili chicken salad and it was absolutely terrible. It was literally a handful of iceberg lettuce, with a ton of tomatoes and cucumbers thrown on top with raw onion and like 4 pieces of overcooked chicken breast. All for $11. It was not a salad and was barely even Indian cuisine. Thought maybe it was just my dish, but tried the wife’s chicken vindaloo and that was terrible as well. She took about 3 bites and threw the rest out. We’re definitely not picky eaters or snobby foodies, but I would never go here again when Amber Indian is killing it down the street.

Updating after our most recent trip – We were, again, blown away at how delicious the food was and how kind and attentive the staff is. The manager (owner I assume based on how attentive he was and how much he cared) made sure my food was safe (Gluten free) and delicious! They allowed my grandma and mom to ask questions and gave recommendations based on what we like. I would happily give them 10 stars if Google would let me!

Low quality and small portions of food. Order chicken tikka masala and it had 3 pieces of chicken for 13$. The naan bread was stale and 1 for 6$. The rice pudding was 6$ and a extremely small portion. My mother in law, who is not well known for her culinary arts, does it better. In the end 50$ for mediocre yesterday food. Never ordering again from this establishment.

Never ever step into this place !!! The women’s washroom was under repair, which is totally understandable, but what happened next was nothing short of a horror experience … We bought to the notice of the absolutely ill mannered owner that the men’s washroom could use some maintenence as the trash can pedal dint seem to work and it’s unhygienic to touch it with bare cleaned and washed hands and that’s it, he just lashed out at us saying he already knows it and what can he do about it.. Contiuously arguing and then returns our order back and refuses to serve us.. What a horrible customer service .. all because we gave a feedback?? Isn’t that our right as a customer ? Absolutely disgusting behaviour.. I’m glad we left because I wouldn’t trust a man like him to serve us food.

We were first time patrons; not a be seated, menus and server waits on you kinda place (what we were expecting). Order at counter and food brought to your table. Meals were delicious! (Tiki Marsala and Paneer Tiki.) The grilled Naan bread was FANTASTIC. The gent running the counter, and the front of the house, could not have been nicer. He told us several times how much he appreciated us. We will be back.

This is a wonderful restaurant run by the kindest people you will find. My husband and I stopped in for lunch yesterday and were unsure what to order. The gentleman at the counter was very patient with us and described each of the vegetarian options to us. We both opted for the aloo gobi with naan. It was incredible! This is the best Indian food I’ve had in the Indy/Carmel area. The delicious, flavorful food combined with remarkable service is well worth the drive up from downtown for us. We will definitely be back; we’re already looking forward to it!
