We were traveling back from Cedar point and looking for a good Halal spot, and definitely we made the best decision ever to choose Fresh in Five! We ordered Lamb and chicken Shawarma bowl, and they were delicious, flavorful and hearty. I 10/10 recommend this place! We were so happy that we got few extra boxes to home 🙂

Food is delicious, we were only visiting for a few days but after trying this food we had to get it again the next day before we left! The smash sauce can be eaten with literally anything, you’ll definitely want extra! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The burgers are huge, and definitely smash!!!!

Just tried for the first time today. The gyro was excellent! Next time I will get the Tzatziki sauce on the side because I don’t like it warm, but other than that, it was excellent. Plenty of meat, and the fries were super crispy. Will definitely order again.

I recently tried takeout from Fresh in Five Halal in Lorain, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, Chicken Fajita Bowl, and Chicken Shawarma Bowl.
The Chicken Shawarma Sandwich was fantastic and quickly became my favorite. The flavors were well-balanced, and the sandwich was prepared to perfection. The Chicken Fajita Bowl and Chicken Shawarma Bowl were okay, with a bed of rice, but they didn’t quite match up to the sandwich in terms of taste and satisfaction.
The atmosphere is functional, with a couple of tables for dining in, but it’s not a proper dine-in restaurant. It’s more like a food court located at the rear end of a convenience store, which is connected to a gas station outside. Despite this, the food quality, especially the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, makes it worth a visit.

I am traveling from New York to Chicago on a road trip and we stopped to find halal food on the way. One of the best restaurants I’ve had in a long time. We were traveling through and mentioned it to the person at the grill. He made the food with extra care and love. The taste was amazing and it was made freshly right in front of us. It took like 15-20 min but well worth the wait. Most of all I loved how sweet and kind the owner was, he made an extra burger by accident and we tried paying him for it but he didn’t take compensation saying we were guest.

Was visiting from Chicago and tried this hidden gem, needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the portions, and prices were very reasonable for the halal meat being used. Brother Akram took good care of us and made sure we had everything from sauces to sides. The loaded fries did justice to their name and the honey hot sauce on the fried chicken was to die for. Will be back when I’m in town.
