Being a University of Kentucky student, The 90 allows for a very accessible food option for students at any point throughout the day, with the variety of food changing every day. There are different food choices for every type of person which I personally really like as everyday is something new and allows for everyone to find something they like. The food quality is good for what it is and what you pay, and overall nothing too special. I go there at least once a day and I am usually always able to find something I would like to eat, and they usually always rotate between breakfast, lunch and dinner around the same times. In my opinion breakfast is usually the only time I find their food to be lacking with the quality seeming lower than most other meals during the day. Sometimes they have local restaurants bring in food which is always very good, and overall The 90 is a great place if you’re looking for some food and not sure exactly what you want.

The 90 is such a convenient place for college students at UK to grab food and somewhere that I go to often. It’s right in the middle of everything that happens on central campus, it has so many options everyday and it even has food for people with allergies and any food restrictions. The layout is very welcoming with bright lights and lots of open space and seating for everyone. My favorite part about the 90 is that I never feel like I’m eating the same thing over and over again. The food is better than I expected for a dining hall. Other than the food, I find that it is also a great place to meet up with your friends. Me and my friends even walk over there sometimes to get ice cream from the dessert station. Therefore, the 90 is a great place for students if they want to grab a meal or even just a snack, I would definitely recommend this to any UK students and visitors.

The dining hall at the 90 is surprisingly good for a college dining hall. The spacious area has plenty of tables even during the busiest part of the day. It has a good selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rotating station creates a new meal you can enjoy for dinner. Although the food can be lackluster, it does the job for a college student. The breakfast is the only complaint I have, it reminds me of a hotel style breakfast. Overall, the 90 dining hall is a solid option for college students. While breakfast could use some improvement, the variety and spaciousness make it a convenient and generally satisfying place to eat. It’s a reliable choice for daily meals, especially with the rotating dinner options, which often introduce a different meal most days. One big factor that is taken for granted is the tidiness of the dining hall. All the plates and cups come clean while all the tables are being wiped down as people get up from their tables.

Visited during a UK Merit Weekend, what a place! I can’t imagine having a facility like this when I went to college. UK really has invested in some impressive facilities for students. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Wish I was going to college again!

The food is definetley not awful, the dish return smells like sweaty socks and cat poop and the servers are usually rude, my friend tried to serve herself chicken at the sushi bit and got yelled at and they slapped her hand down instead of just correcting her in a normal manner but the actual place is pretty big so theres plenty of places to sit and move around, the ice machine also never works

Great service, including social distancing guidelines. It was also really quick, but that’s probably because we didn’t go at a peak time. I enjoyed the food, and the servings were well portioned. Its a buffet, which makes it worth the money, and there’s and option to get more food at one time.

With meal plans for students being a couple of thousand dollars, and a moderate price for regular customers, this place could do much better. Food is very often burnt, drink machines remain out of service for days, employees are rude and give either tiny portions or slam food on your plate in an unappetizing pile. Often more than half stations are closed and say “please join us for our next mean at x:00”, meaning that you wasted a meal swipe, or worse, $10.
Options are fairly limited and the frequently serve the same things every day. Food is mediocre when properly cooked (which is rare) and borderline inedible when they burn it to a crisp.
Two stars because of the athenian grill (genuinely solid Mediterranean food) and the staff. For the most part the staff are kinda and welcoming, specifically the cashiers.
Overall, for students I recommend going to Champion’s Kitchen instead. They have a lot of the same problems with a much ruder staff but in general the food is at least better.

I eat here at least once a day and they have a good selection for every meal. The only bad thing is that they don’t serve their main stations in-between meal times (brunch, afternoon). But you can usually still find some stations open.
The Indian station has nice daily selection of dishes, the Mexican station has good chicken (rice is sub par), and the Athenian Grill has some unique dishes and a big grill for hamburgers and grilled chicken.
The ice cream in that one picture isn’t there anymore–they installed it last year and lasted only about a week until the freezer broke. They haven’t had it back since. Otherwise, there’s usually a huge dessert selection (pan dishes, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, donuts (mornings), etc.).
If you don’t plan on eating a lot here and don’t have a meal plan, I’d pick another location. It’s pretty pricey, and you’ll be disappointed if you decide to come in-between meal times.

Pretty good as far as campus dining goes. There isn’t much variety between what’s served. Food quality here is on par with what you would expect from buffet/cafeteria style cooking. Overall, nothing too bad but there’s definitely better options available.

Replaced all of their silverware and utensils with cheap plastic ones.
