On December 19, 2025, my husband went to this location and purchased a second batch of chicken for his job. Infact, between the 18 and the 19, he purchased about $100 worth of chicken.
He accidently left his phone on the 19. I did not know this and had been trying to call him but wasn’t getting an answer. He came home during his break and asked me to call up to this location to see if he left his phone up there.
When I called, the person asked me what the number to the phone was. I gave it to him. He called the phone and then said that it was up there. My husband went up there to get it. My husband said that when he went up to get his phone, the guy with the tattoos all over his hands was trying to act like he did not know what he was talking about concerning getting the phone. The manager/owner had to tap him on the shoulder and tell him to give my husband his phone. Now this guy knew who my husband was but was trying to play stupid.
To add insult to injury, when my husband got his phone, he noticed scratches and knicks on his phone like someone was trying to get into his phone. I have included the photos to show this.
Even though they may have some good chicken, they dealt dishonestly with my husband. Every time that there is a pot luck at my husband’s job, he always goes to this location to purchase chicken…NO MORE!!!!!!
We will never purchase anything from this location ever again!!!!! I believe that if there were able to get the phone out of the case, then they would have kept the phone but since they had no use for it because they could not get it out, they gave it back.

The thing to get here is the fried chicken tenders or the jumbo fried shrimp…
with extra Crack seasoning. Both are very good with large portions…but somewhat expensive for what you get.
To be clear, the Crack seasoning makes all the difference. Without the Crack seasoning, the fried chicken tenders and the fried shrimp just don’t have that much flavor. It is the same at either Lansing location.
The fries and hushpuppies are very good but expensive for what you get. Both really need the Crack seasoning too so make sure you order yours WITH extra Crack seasoning…you will thank me later. Check your fries BEFORE leaving the store to make sure they are fresh. The fries ALWAYS taste stale after a 30 to 45 minute delivery ride or a 25 minute ride home.
Pass on the fried cod, it is very fishy and gamy tasting…with or without the Crack seasoning.
Make sure you call your order in or be prepared to wait 20 to 45 minutes for your meal to be cooked. It is a small store that can get very crowded, very quickly…especially from 5 to 7pm any day of the week.
When ordering from Door Dash, we recommend checking your order BEFORE the driver leaves or you may get someone else’s order…which has happened to us mutiple times already.
Overall, probably the best fried chicken tenders and fried jumbo shrimp in the Lansing area. Again, as long as you order it with extra Crack seasoning. Awesome chicken wings at reasonable prices. Not too many establishments do the “whole” wing anymore so it was a pleasant surprise. They aren’t huge wings but you definitely get your moneys worth and the batter was amazing. We ordered 100 for a party and everyone loved them.

Food is Amazing!! I ordered a samll fry, the portion is perfect. Hush puppies, crack powder made them to drool for. A little more expensive but absolutely amazing, even if you have leftovers and recook in the airfryer (if you have one). 1$ giant pickles. The one I got was small but cheap enough I wokt complain. Lol. I havent had their chicken yet….cant wait. I was in a hurry last night, and they werent busy so im guessing thats why the food was so phenomenal. Ill try to go when they are busy next time lol ❤️

The quality of this place has gone way down hill. I have been ordering the same thing for years. 20 piece drum stick and a large fry. The last couple times this is what we have gotten. They are literally smaller than my finger. If they are too small they should be giving extra pieces or a discount or something. That is unacceptable

Always order by tray, 100+ crack wings here! Usually call and place and order first, they will give u an estimate time ready, but it takes a little longer than the estimate given, which is understandable. Can purchase crack seasoning here and online.
