We absolutely love the salsa. The Tamales and chili rellenos did not have a price on them and were surprised when our total for 2 jars of salsa and 1 package each of 12 tamales for me and 12 rellenos for my wife rang up at $84 and change. To add insult to injury the food was terrible, barely edible. My tamales where dry, almost devoid of filling which had no flavor. I have purchased tamales in restaurants and from an old woman in front of hardware stores for a fraction of the price that tasted 20 times better. Buy the salsa, DO NOT BUY THE FOOD.

Long overdue review. Writing due to their re-marketing. Was pumped to receive my jars. Loved seeing the videos of Randy and the family. Expected some heat.. no kick at all.. and I was really sad to see white mold on top of the salsas after 7 days.. after closed refrigeration. Just a big let down overall.

Both boxes arrived in good shape – zero loss on the green, about 5-10% on the red (which happens). The only issue I have is the green is not hot – seems like its big jim not the hot I ordered. It was marked extra hot but is pretty mild – medium. Perhaps got mixed up during harvest. Thanks for bringing some of the land of enchantment (my homeland) to this far corner of the states (vermont).

I’ve been eating green chile since my existence. This is by far the best roasted green chile I’ve ever had. I ordered some other things to I got the jalepeno mustard and jalepeno salsa. Both very good the green chile is already gone though.

I found The Fresh Chile co during the Pandemic, I was trying to find non tomato based enchiladas sauce and ran across them on Facebook. Randy and his Family and Employees are truly the greatest. I work in retail and they are the best in customer service and the highest quality food products I’ve ever bought. I joined the cooking site and enjoy posting recipes, I even made it into the first cookbook. We have ordered multiple times, and enjoy the new products they keep coming up with. The Fresh Chile brand is on our table daily.
