Fresh Catch Seafood Company on Hurdle Avenue is clearly brand new, and you can feel that they’re still getting their sea legs. The space is really cute—clean, bright, and welcoming—and the food is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Fresh Catch: fresh, super healthy, and an easy win when you want a meal that feels good afterward.
That said, the experience this visit was a little rough. They seemed to be out of a lot of items, and the person behind the counter (seemed like a newer/younger employee) didn’t fully understand the menu or the flow of ordering, so the service felt slower and a bit unconfident. No one was rude—just not quite dialed in yet, and the customer service didn’t match what I’m used to at other locations.
I’m chalking it up to opening kinks because the core product is still strong. I’ll definitely be back, and I think once they tighten up inventory and training, this location is going to be a great neighborhood spot.

Got the poached salmon bowl, the salmon was incredibly fishy and not fresh, kinda ruined the rest of the bowl which was actually pretty ok, but for the high price it is just too hard to justify. The guy working the counter was very nice and the atmosphere was small but cute.
