First time trying this place upon the recommendation of a coworker. I’d like to start off by saying the wait time was unreal. We had to wait 30 minutes for our food. 20 wings, large fry, 2 piece whiting and fries, 1 thigh, 1 leg. Not sure if this is the norm or because it was $1 wing Wednesday. Secondly the food was good no issues there. Here’s where the issue begins. I ordered my food and my cousin orders his food. Upon reaching home my cousin realized that his thigh and leg were not with the rest of our food.(I know we should’ve checked prior to leaving) so we call back to let them know after the line being busy for 20 minutes we finally get through. The guy that took our order tells us to come back up there to get the thigh and leg. Upon arriving back to the restraunt he tells my cousin and I quote ” If you had ordered a thigh and a wing I would’ve wrote it down” but if you want to wait 20 minutes we can make it for $2. Ugh sir we just spent $33 and waited 30 minutes we don’t have another 20 minutes to wait. So he offers my cousin two thighs for $2. I know that sometimes mistakes are made but not trying to correct the mistake and telling a customer what they didn’t order is a HUGE problem in my opinion. Now for $2 dollars you have lost two customers and word of mouth promotion. He could’ve easily said “It’s on me sir, I made a mistake, here are the two thighs we have in order to keep our business” furthermore you NEVER should’ve told us to come back if you weren’t going to correct your mistake. You don’t know how far we had to travel and you could’ve told us on the phone that the thigh and leg were left off the order. We have the power of where we spend our money at and it won’t be at Fresh Bite Express again just based upon the principle of customer resolution.

I’ve tried the fried fish and chicken strips with onion rings and fried okra and they were all delicious. The breading is seasoned fairly heavily, which is part of the reason everything is so good. My husband got the gyro and it was huge and delicious too. This place sure doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the man inside is super nice and friendly and patient with questions, and his food is top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant!
