Hidden Jem! This Cafe is has a peaceful atmosphere and is spacious with plenty of places to sit. The barista was friendly and kind.
I tried an oat milk almond latte, which was really good & a recovery tea both drinks were delicious and well priced. 10/10 would come back.

What a sweet surprise!! It actually looked like it wasn’t open, Sunday morning – very quiet, a little hard to see if you aren’t familiar with the area. But totally worth finding! In the back of the courtyard, cute and spacious – lots of seating! Really clean!
The girl that helped us (Grey) bent over backwards to make suggestions and even offered to modify once we told her what we liked. We sat in the back room by the window and it couldn’t have been more perfect:) very quiet, sun-filled room.
We tried the peppermint mocha iced latte (exactly as described, and they had oat milk – another plus!) It was delicious! Worth going back for! We also had the Vietnamese latte, raspberry cheese croissant, almond croissant and quiche Lorraine. All were delicious! The raspberry and almond croissants were flaky and fresh. The quiche Lorraine was served in a way I had never seen before – in a little rectangle pan and heated up once we ordered. Very moist and generous both with the ham and flavor.
We’ll definitely be back! For all that we ordered (warmed up and eaten there), we spent right at or under $30.

I love local coffee shops. They usually have lots more character than chains. I was hoping for an excellent experience based on the prior reviews, but was disappointed.
It took a bit to find the location which is part of building with other shops and restaurants. No distinct signage on the outside, but there were a couple of people on a table outside, so that was a helpful clue. The interior is a mix of different tables and chairs. Nice, but lacked a cozy feel.
Got here late morning. Only a few other customers. The server was cheerful and friendly. Did a nice job to explain the shop and the offerings. Made me a London Fog Latte to my liking. (thanks Grey 🙂
I ordered an Almond Croissant which looked great! Had it warmed up a little. It was nice a flaky, nicely topped with some almonds. Inside was another story. Inside was cold cube of commercial almond paste. It was awful. I was going to let the server know, but she was the only staff person there, and busy with customers. I tossed it out.
Wish it were a better experience. Don’t think that I’ll be coming back.

For being tucked away I was expecting a cozier atmosphere. It says they aim for a European feel but it’s certainly not that. The coffee was okay but the pastries were excellent and the highlight of the visit. All the food and drinks were served in disposable containers which made it feel like I was at a food truck, not the experience I was going for visiting a eat in cafe.

Great hidden gem! Hours are short, and location is tucked away, but well worth the visit. Lots of fun drink options, great customer service, and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

We tried the dark chocolate peanut butter croissant and almond croissant. Both were okay, the almond wasn’t as flaky as we’d anticipated and there was barely any almond paste filling inside.

Recommend if you’re not in a hurry and want a peaceful atmosphere. They seem to be short staffed right now, so it’s a bit of a wait on Saturday morning, and they were already sold out of most of their food items by 10:30am. The croissant was really flaky but felt a little undercooked in the center. They have a lot of coffee flavors for such a small menu, which I liked. Their sandwich portions are really big.

I first must say I reviewed the fresh baked in Brookfield. I gave it one star because they where closed during their normal hours they posted . We decided to give the one in elm grove a try . To be honest I wanted to not enjoy the pastries because I was so put off about my experience with the first visit . Fortunately for me everything was excellent. We purchased seven different pastries to sample and all where very impressive!! I brought back fond memories of visiting cafes in Europe. We all where blown away with buttery and delicate the croissants. I am immediately removing my previous review.
