Walking into this shop instantly brought me back to last fall when we spent 10 wonderful days in Paris. I looooooove everything they have to offer! Pastries are my biggest weakness, and I’m pretty savvy when it comes to good baked goods in NOVA — this place absolutely delivers.

Their croissants were so wonderfully flakey and indulgent! I ended up stopping by for breakfast twice during my trip – once by myself and another time with my family. I really enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin croissant and recommend it for anyone that wants to add a delightful seasonal treat to their trip 🙂

I had an amazing experience at Fresh Baguette! I tried their Norwegian crowgel, which is a delightful blend of a bagel and a croissant, filled with smoked salmon, cucumber, chives cream cheese, and spring mix. It was absolutely delicious and had the perfect texture. I also loved their passion fruit juice, which was a refreshing touch. A huge thank you to John and his team for their warm and respectful service. I can’t wait to come back!

Fresh Baguette in Old Town Alexandria is the spot! I loved all of their pastries, especially the regular and chocolate croissants. They were warm, soft, perfectly flaky, and, best of all, not overly sweet — a delightful surprise. Strolling through the charming streets of Old Town with a pastry in hand made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a delicious and authentic treat!

This is one of the best bakeries I have visited in the area. The baguettes are top notch along with all their other treats I’ve tried….especially the almond croissant! Their coffees are pretty good too.
This past week they started a passport promotion where you can try different weekly treats and you get a stamp for each treat you get. Depending on the number of stamps you get at the end of the promotion, you can get various prizes in the form of treats! So I will certainly be filling up my passport!
The staff are always super kind and the place is just a very chill place to hang with a friend.
As for dates, I say it’s a perfect place for a first or second date.
