I expect to pay a lot for a lobster roll near the ocean, but it better taste good. This did not, the garlic butter was way overpowering and the volume of lobster was minimal. The fried fish was also terrible, clearly frozen and not fresh, despite being in Gloucester! Lastly, they didnt have straws so our coconut was undrinkabke until half way through the meal when a straw appeared. The fries were great. Skip this place.

I wish i could give this more than 5 stars. THE BEST lobster roll we’ve ever had! Fish n’ chips was awesome and the steamed clams were outstanding!! The view of the ocean is great too and staff was so nice.

First off, I wanted to say that the sandwiches were great. I got a huge cut of fried haddock between 2 buns with the works, and that was honestly great. We also got an egg&cheese on a bagel and the egg was cooked perfectly. But the sides confused me. The coleslaw was perfect and the fries were nice and crispy, but the portions for those were way too small for the price. The coleslaw came in a tiny cup and we got about a handful of fries. Why skimp on the cheapest menu options to produce, then go whole hog on the main? Still had a good time here though and I’d definitely come back for the haddock sandwich.

The food was delicious and the view was perfect. A great place for a quick bite to eat. It is a small place with very limited seating inside. I did not observe any outdoor seating options. We enjoyed our meals . I had clam strips, yum.

Got the garlic butter lobster roll and it was genuinely amazing. I grew up in new england and this was extremely solid, would absolutely come for another if I’m in the area again! Very chill staff too

I took a day trip with my family to Rockport. We had a beach day in front of Front Beach and noticed Fresco’s Seaside. The place was so cute and clean, the food was amazing, and best of all, they had an amazing view and I was able to hang out with my dog while enjoying my food due to their outside patio.
I had the Louisiana style clams, the were to die for. The clam bellies were fresh and crispy. We tried both the hot and cold lobster roll and it was amazing. Their fresh coconut was very refreshing and sweet. We came with a family of 5, and love how their menu offers a variety of seafood, clubs, subs, and sandwiches. My dad had the chicken parm and he said very flavorful. To top off the amazing experience, we finished it off with popsicles and slushes.
Overall it was incredible.Perfect beach side portions. My family and I will definitely be back.

We walked into Frescos Seaside restaurant at around 7 pm after a day at Long Beach. The girls at the counter were very friendly. Looked very clean.
We ordered right away. No line at that time. You can order from the takeout window or go inside either one We just stayed in. You can also sit outside. There’s a few little tables, but there’s also a beautiful park that you can walk to right there and eat out there. Or Walk across the street and sit at a few benches looking at the ocean waves.
The fish and chips (fries) with coleslaw were nice and light and fresh – delicious. The lobster roll was wonderful my daughter in law said. My husband got the steak and cheese. He said it was mouthwatering. And my son got the fish sandwich with tartar sauce and pickles. he said it was very good. Also the coconut shrimp app was crisp and very good.There’s even a kids menu.

On our way out and told him how happy we were with everything and he said thank you very much. We appreciate it. I said I hope you stay in business and it really works out for you for a long time. It was a much needed spot in Rockport. They also stay open until 9 PM which is great. We will definitely be going back again when we have visitors. More a 4.5! Late morning stop on Front Beach and decided to give Frescos a try for lunch! As we had dinner reservations later in the day in Gloucester, we split a fried clam plate. It was strips and you know how those can be… well these were superb!! Food was hot, fries were great ! A short walk across the street from fFront Beach, we opted to eat on the beach and of course enjoyed a Frescos coconut (who wouldn’t?)
Definitely recommend and look forward to trying some of their other options mentioned n these reviews!

I had an excellent experience at Frescos Seaside in Rockport. We tried the fish and chips and fried calamari, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was unbeatable, with the added bonus of dining right in front of the beach. It’s a great spot if you’re spending the day in Rockport and looking for a quick, hearty bite with an incredible view. Highly recommend!
