We celebrated my dad’s 88th birthday at Fresco in Smithfield on Sunday. Our waiter was Bobby and he was amazing. He was so attentive. We were a party of 15 with small children and he really made the night special. We had the all you can eat chicken dinner and it was delicious. Everything from the salad to the pasta, fries and chicken was the perfect. Will definitely come back again.

Came here with my family & expected better food than this. I ordered the chicken Milanese & it wasn’t crispy at all. Soggy and very oily little to no taste. My fiancé didn’t enjoy his burger either and the fries were awfully dry. My son ordered the kids moz sticks and he didn’t seem to like those either! I couldn’t believe that I overheard the chefs talking smack as well laughing that I ordered a Caesar salad instead when I sent the food back. Of course I didn’t want to wait for something else to be cooked and may have been bad as well so yeah I ordered the Caesar. The server was great no complaints there but the food … not great & the chefs … do better sweetheart. I seen you come from the kitchen and give me a look I work in restaurants I’m not stupid. You can see the oil on the plate in the pic not to mention how small the chicken pieces were

We tried the family style chicken dinner. The bread was so good. I was very surprised that the pasta was not good. We did not like the sauce at all. It almost had the taste of a jar sauce. The salad and french fries were probably the best part of the dinner. The chicken was dry and not very tasty. We had coffee that was cold and served in just the cup. The tea had a cup and saucer. We didn’t have spoons to stir our coffee so we used a straw from our soda. Did I mention the lipstick on my cup? I guess that can happen. We would not go there again for the family style chicken as there are other places where it is much better. We frequent their Cranston restaurant where I think the food is much better.

Amazing all-you-can eat Sunday family-style chicken! The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My family, including two teens, and the older friends we were dining with were highly impressed by the quality and flavor (even the warm bread was out of this world!) and will definitely be back – both for this meal again and to try their regular menu offerings.

We tried the chicken family style. The chicken, pasta, and fries were great. However the salad would have been a lot better if was iceberg or romaine lettuce. The arugula didn’t go well at all. That is my only complaint. Please change the lettuce!!

Came here Friday evening for Restaurant week, we arrived around 8pm and service was quick, we both picked our three course meal. We ended up getting coconut shrimp for an appetizer. They gave us some bread and oil which was really delicious. Both dinners came out as we just finished our ceaser salads. I had gotten the Parmesan pork chops and the cheese pasta.

Update. 8/12/25 went back STILL AWESOME!! Tim my server is the BEST!! I had pork chop OMG!! To die for!! This place still rocks!!

I went early, 5pm, so it wasn’t too busy yet. Food was HOT and came fast enough. I got chicken parm wings, was tasty but a tad over cooked but not truly worth a complaint. Chicken parm was good. Crispy chicken, juicy inside, sauce was good, but not my type. It’s the light red, chunky sweet marinara, with a slight kick.. I’m more of the dark red spicy kinda guy.. that doesn’t mean it was bad!!. Dessert, I got this WONDERFUL cheese cake with a Brule top, WAS TO DIE FOR!! Service was great and friendly. No complaints really.. worth a try for certain!!

I brought my daughter here after her practice about. Our server was great. I think his name was Bobby. My daughter ordered spaghetti and he suggested swapping in the pink vodka sauce as it was delicious. I ordered the veal parm and also swapped in the pink vodka sauce.

Both meals were fantastic and the pink vodka sauce was a great call! We will be back.

Great bar staff had an excellent time at their bar. Upscale place great for dates for celebrations
They helped us with our split order and it was fantastic and they made some fantastic drinks. The artichokes were good as well as the salad. Here’s a picture of both.

Did a review 3 years ago,,nothing but raves.
Hence 3 years later sorry to say not a pleasant experience.
Food was just as enjoyable. Service at bar was the pits. Three couples at bar..two couples left . We were the only two still waiting for the bread we ordered 20 minutes earlier.
Our drink order was taken a good 10 minutes after our arrival. New arrival next to us ordered cocktails which both were apparently lacked being made by a professional.. Judy, the wonderful pleasant manager noticed the drinks not being consumed , made the drinks the professional way.
We ordered our meal and when it was placed in front of us we reminded the sleeping bartender about the bread. She, Kerry, with no apologies, got us it for us and rudely placed at our seats.
All said and done if visiting..eat in dining room..female bartender is terrible.
Or call first and inquire who is tending bar…we surely will.
