Great Italian restaurant and bar! Friendly staff, especially to the best bartender, Jim. Love the bar and highly recommend the Meatballs and the Sword fish chop. Outstanding and large portion! Nice wine collection too. Definitely recommend coming by next time you are looking for great food and service on Main Street

My husband, son and I came here from NY visiting our cousins. We looked up great Italian places to eat it, and Fresco’s was highly rated/recommended. We had Julia as our waitress, and she was fantastic! She told us all about specials and drinks. She was especially sweet and kind to our four-year-old son. Everything we ate was delicious. From our meatball appetizers to our steak and butternut squash ravioli. I even was able to add a steamed lobster tail to our entrée. My son had a plate of rigatoni pasta, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The next time we come to visit our cousins, we will make it a point to come back to this absolutely delicious restaurant!

Randomly stopped here while on a road trip with my sister. Very glad we did. Everything we had was delicious but the gnocchi was the winner.

Good bartender, decent service, but very overpriced. I had risotto with peas, which was exactly that with maybe some chicken broth added for flavor and little else – $18. I think it had alittle onion in there too. Then two very small overcooked, hard and dry grilled chicken tenders plopped on top for an additional $6. They were even hard to cut with a serrated steak knife.
My friend got four small baked stuffed shrimp. I didn’t taste them but they looked no bigger than U-30 shrimp and she only ate three. That was over $40. These prices in East Greenwich, RI on an off-season off-night, not Boston. I won’t be back.

Called on Monday to confirm any special needs for ordering for NYE, some kid told us now. We confirmed we wanted 2 quarts of vodka, and 1 quart of bolognese, plus bread, he confirmed no problem call the day of. We promptly call at 430 NYE and are told holiday menu only and that we were most certainly NOT told otherwise on Monday, although we were… We have been regular patrons to this fresco and only this one, unfortunately our NYE stay home dinner was altered severely. Shame on you Fresco, and the woman manager who answered the phone today had and always has an attitude.

We went for appetizers and dessert, but got filled with just the 2 appetizers: stuffed mushrooms- hearty and delicious, and the calamari which came with three sauces. The balsamic and marinara were our favorites, the lemon-garlic was good also. The drinks were well-poured. Also the bread was warm and served with a parmesan butter in oil- oh so tasty! Cheers to Fresco for good service (our server was knowledgeable and pleasant) and lots of menu choices. I look forward to returning. I enjoyed the holiday decor inside and outside. I didn’t rate 5 stars bc we had to request to be seated away from restrooms (there were several other tables available).

Passing through East Greenwich with a girlfriend and decided to stop for dinner and we followed the amazing aroma straight into Fresco. The atmosphere is lovely, great place to take a date, and the service was impeccable. We started with calamari and their amazing bread. For those who try to avoid carbs, just don’t when coming to Fresco, it is warm and light with a tasty cheese and spice spread. I had the chicken marsala which was cooked to perfection; loved the mashed potatoes, with steamed broccoli. My girlfriend had the mussels, which we shared. It was moderately priced and I highly recommend trying Fresco if you’re in the area, you will not be disappointed!

One of the best Italian places I have been to in RI! The restaurant had a good vibe, and it is located in the heart of East Greenwich! I tried the chicken parmesan and the chocolate cake here, and both were good! The place is quite reasonable for the ambience and service! The service at this location is slow but the staff is good! They have bar seating as well!
