We made dinner reservations for my husband’s birthday on Saturday evening, what a wonderful time we had! The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We split a bottle of wine, enjoyed the CROUTE aux FROMAGE as an appetizer, Spaghetti Carbonara & Chicken Parmigiana. The server also brought us Tiramisu I highly recommend Fresco. It was the perfect date night/Birthday!

We visited this restaurant on 08/21. I hate giving any place a negative review, but this was not a good time and I doubt my qualms with the food are issues that will be resolved by going back again in a few days. I guess I’ll start with the location — this restaurant is located in one of the loveliest spots in all of Bozeman: adjacent to the creek, shaded by trees, just far enough from the road to hide the worst of the noise, and surrounded by easy parking.

Fresco Cafe has come along way in atmosphere since I moved away from Bozeman in 2015. Their new location (new to me) is very chic, warm, and wine bar charming. The thing that hasn’t changed is the delicious food. This was my favorite Italian eatery back when I lived in Montana and I’m glad to see that it’s still thriving and doing well.

It’s was great! The inner child got the best of me and got the spaghetti and meatballs. My girlfriend got the special. Food was really good but the pasta had a interesting texture but the sauces really hit out the ballpark. Overall it was great and service was on point. I even forgot my card and they called back right after which was nice. Highly recommend this place to Anyone.

Everything was very tasty. Fantastic service and great atmosphere. When the menu says “live” mussels, however, I not expecting “fresh frozen” mussels. I would think it would be important to be honest on the menu.

What an amazing meal the best carbonara I’ve ever had! And the gelato was so fresh and tasty as well. Came here as a recommendation from a local and couldn’t be happier! A little pricey but way worth it and we were celebrating the end of our trip. Best meal we had the entire time!

Sometimes a little wait adds to the experience. We had some friends in town visiting who adore Italian so we decided that Cafe Fresco was the obvious place to go. As I’m sure one could imagine going during the 4th of July Holiday in Bozeman could pose a challenge!? I made a reservation weeks in advance but even showing up 10 min. early the place which is small and quaint had every table full and bustling with happy people. Well our reservation time came and went and the host after profusely apologizing offered us all a complimentary glass of wine, which of course we gladly accepted. Just a few minutes later we were seated and greeted by a very attentive waiter. Our night was amazing the food, service, atmosphere , more wine was everything I knew it would be for our out of town guests. They were very impressed and said so many times on the drive back. Thank you for being the best little Italian spot in Bozeman!! I’d give you SIX STARS…but they only let me give 5!!

Went to Bozeman on a work trip and wanted to treat myself in Mother’s Day since I was away from my kids. Found this yummy Italian spot and for a seat at the bar. Caroline took great care of me. The meat balls were fantastic. I also had the ravioli and a great red blend to compliment dinner. A great dining experience if you are in town and a cozy atmosphere.

A super cozy restaurant with amazing service and even better food. To start with we got the raspberry lemonade which we could watch them make at the bar from our table. They were made with fresh raspberries, which made the drinks taste very fresh. We tried the chicken Parmesan and the pesto cavatappi, pasta with chicken and prosciutto both of which were wonderful. Additionally we were celebrating a birthday day, and upon the staff’s discovery of this we were presented with a tiramisu cake! We will definitely be back and recommend anyone living or visiting Bozeman to try this restaurant.

Warm and inviting atmosphere, though, would have been nice to be greeted at the door while we waited 5 minutes to be seated beyond our reservation time. Pasta and apps were amazing, ceasar salad was so-so, and our waiter was at times absent and forgetful, though friendly and comped things he forgot. Overall, a worthwhile experience.
