Fresa Mexican kitchen and Tequila Bar prides itself on serving the finest in home-cooked, Mexican lunches and dinners at incredibly reasonable prices. Customer favorites include the carne asada, chile rellenos (stuffed chilies) and, of course, our margaritas. Join us for happy hour Monday through Saturday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and 8:00 to closed and Sunday all day. Our full bar offers delicious drinks to complement our cuisine. Our food is Jalisco-style and our service and friendly atmosphere will make you feel like you’re in Mexico. We were invited to a birthday party at Fresa Mexican Kitchen, and it was our first time there such a vibe! The restaurant has very modern décor, and they even have a photo wall near the bathroom and bar area for pictures .
Unfortunately, I didn’t get photos of our food since there were 24 of us, and the servers were working hard trying to get through the group. Which brings me to the service absolutely phenomenal. With such a large party, there were no mistakes at all, from drink orders to food. Our server did an amazing job keeping everything together with a great attitude and never once seemed frustrated.
We arrived in time for happy hour and ordered a blackberry blended margarita and a piña colada both were amazing! For the table, we shared the Bean Dip with Chorizo, which was delicious (especially if you love chorizo).
I ordered the Sopes and a Caesar salad. The sopes weren’t my favorite (not quite sure why), though the carne asada was very flavorful. The Caesar salad, however, was made to perfection absolutely delicious and hit the spot. My fiancé ordered the Chile Colorado, which he said was perfect and ate every last bite!
Just a side note: for large parties, gratuity is added to the bill, which was totally expected.
Nothing but great things to say about this restaurant we’ll definitely be back! ✨

I recently stopped by Fresa Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar with a friend, and the experience completely defied my expectations. Anticipating a more traditional, family-style spot, I was genuinely surprised by how stylish and polished the interior was.
We headed straight for the bar in the back, where we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile, a seat, and a prompt delivery of chips and salsa. We added the bean dip, which was excellent—a rich flavor enhanced by nice, subtle chunks of cooked jalapeño.
The margarita menu alone is an event; it’s more extensive than many restaurants’ full drink and food lists. I kicked things off with the Million Dollar Margarita, while my friend had the Scratch Cadillac, and both were spot-on. For the second round, I asked for something more spirit-forward. The bartender suggested the Mile-High Marg, and it delivered, even coming with two small side shots: one of Jimador tequila and one of Gran Gala (which is a solid upgrade from standard orange liqueur).
Everything on the food menu sounded fantastic. I’m already looking forward to bringing my wife back for a fun dinner and working our way through more of that margarita list. Fresa is a definite win.

We have been here a few times now and I have to say it is a great place to go on Tuesdays for the drink options. We have not made it past appetizers at this point, but all food has been good. My confusion comes from the atmosphere for the place. I understand the modern feel, but defiantly think it gives more of a cantina or warm home vibes from the staff and hosts. Not saying a change needs to be made! We still love this place and will defiantly be back.

A high priced restaurant but the portions are big. The staff was very friendly and attentive to us as we dined here. Their presentation is great but I felt as though my food lacked in flavor (they were the nachos).I am curious about how the vegan nachos compare though because they use a cashew cheese and that tends to add more flavor.
However, I dont think I would be coming back here because the food wasn’t too much to my taste, and the price is very high. We went here during lunch time and I dont recall seeing any lunch specials either. However, others may enjoy what they have to offer. The service was great along with presentation. I am torn because I want to come back again but was disappointed in the extreme lack of Carne Asada inside my burrito. I paid extra for it and after telling my server about it, she said that the manager refuses to put very much in them. She says she gets complaints all the time, I appreciate her honesty. Drinks and service was nice.

We sat in the bar area and the waitress was friendly and we received great service. The margarita flight was so good. We got hibiscus, mango passion, coconut, and the scratch margaritas. Food was good as well. We got the vegan nachos, shrimp ceviche, and carne asada quesadillas.

I came from Vancouver to Everett to try this place out. I was truly disappointed by the food. It was not authentic, rice had no flavour and beans were filled cheese. I did enjoy my enchilada. I had high expectations for this place, but I believe it’s just another Tex Mex kind of place. Service however was wonderful.

Edit: I am done with them randomly being closed. They were literally closed on my birthday. This is the third time I’ve come here and they’ve randomly been closed.
I love doing the tequila sampler! They’re not tiny at all, and there’s so many amazing flavors. It’s just such a fun time!
