We started with a combo appetizer platter loaded with crispy, cheesy, golden bites—basically all the best things on one plate! A perfect kickoff to the meal.
The star for me was the Spicy Chicken Pasta—creamy, smoky, and with just the right amount of kick ️. So rich and flavorful without being too heavy. I’m still dreaming about it!
The Tandoori Chicken Pizza was another standout—bold spices, perfectly baked crust . It was such a fun and flavorful twist on pizza!
We also shared the Jambalaya, which was packed with juicy chicken. So hearty and satisfying!
For dessert, I was surprised with their Butter Toffee Cake—a warm mini bundt cake drenched in sweet, sticky toffee sauce. Absolute heaven!
The portions are super generous—two of us shared nearly everything and left stuffed. And the service was top tier—friendly, fast, and full of smiles .
The vibe of the whole place is so nice! You can sit inside or enjoy the cozy outdoor patio with dreamy lighting—great for a chill night or dinner with friends. They even have a private little space inside that’s perfect for a small birthday or casual get-together.
FRENDS has definitely earned a top and definitely will be returning when traveling to Sacramento.
I ordered the brewhouse burger w/o A1 sauce. The meat was very bland and tasted like a microwaved patty.
My husband ordered the Pastrami Sandwhich and the meat was very dry. Even the drink her ordered, an Old Fashion, was nasty.
My sister ordered the spicy chicken pasta and it wasn’t that good, she took it home and reheated it the next day and a ton of oil was on the plate.
My daughter ordered the Combo sampler and only liked the shrimp. The chicken was “mushy” it was a weird texture.
So overall, the food is mediocre. For the price it shouldn’t be.
The
Oh and I’m a Ranch snob and theirs is gross. I was so disappointed.
Would be nice if shrimp had the tails off since sister had the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and hers were completely peeled.
Very good chicken Parmesan with both marinara and Alfredo sauces served with garlic cheese bread.
Acted like I was an idiot and didn’t know what stinking spoiled shrimp smells like. Then when I took everything back to them for the refund I Was not impressed with their customer service, it’s not good like it used to be. Will never be back to this location again.
Hoping the new Pete’s by me will be what it used to be.
The good news for potential customers is, that apparently the pizza is really supposed to be excellent. The staff, for the most part, is friendly. Only because the bartender tried to make my meal something more than the bland medley of Cisco Foods, I will come again to try the pizza the next time I am in town.
